1. McDonald's is paying its new ad agency in a really unusual way. The CEO of DDB North America, Wendy Clark, spoke to us about why pay-for-performance is a good thing.

2. Millennials reveal the 100 brands they love. Ad agency Moosylvania has revealed its annual rankings - Apple is at number one.

3. Coca-Cola's future isn't about soda any more. The company's iced tea brand Gold Peak is entering the ready-to-drink coffee business, which could be key to the company's future.

4. Snapchat's first investor reveals what he looks for in the next big app. Jeremy Liew, a partner at Lightspeed Ventures, said he looks for the apps that are trending among young women.

5. Salesforce spent $110 million on a startup that was reportedly last valued at $28 million. The company acquired BeyondCore, a data analytics startup, last month.

6. A bunch of famous YouTubers are furious at the company. YouTubers have been receiving emails informing them that their videos violate its "advertiser-friendly content guidelines."

7. Former Subway pitchman Jared Fogle is suing the parents of one of his sex offense victims. In court documents filed on Thursday, Fogle deflected blame for the girl's emotional distress and personal injuries in the aftermath of his crimes, and argued that the girl's parents - and not him - are the source of her distress.

8. Dentsu Aegis is acquiring ad tech company Accordant, AdAge first reported. Financial terms were not disclosed.

9. Nike has a new spot out for the US Open, Adweek reports. It pays tribute to Serena Williams, who the brand calls the "greatest athlete ever."

10. Microsoft and Google browsers have a high ad fraud rate, according to research from ad fraud detection company FraudLogix. However, Microsoft and Google have questioned the methodology of the study, The Wall Street Journal reports.
