Dodge Ram Copied Its 'Farmers' Super Bowl Spot From This Farming Site

Feb 4, 2013, 11:54 IST

But Slate points out that the idea for the ad appears to have been copied from a 2011 ad made by Farms.com, an agricultural news site.

As the Ram trucks web site points out, it was an act of homage, not plagiarism. The company borrowed the idea with Farms.com's permission. "It's not a rip, it's keeping the idea alive," a company exec tweeted.
