- WWF had started celebrating Earth Hour back in 2007, to inspire people to help the environment and raise awareness.
- Since then, Earth Hour has become a global movement.
- This year too, many brands spoke about the importance of Earth Hour in an attempt to encourage people to make a difference, and contribute in conserving energy in whichever small way they can.

Today is March 28, the one day that the world comes together to switch off all lights, to celebrate Earth Hour, in an attempt to build awareness about conserving energy and help reduce emissions and preserve resources.
Despite the global Coronavirus outbreak that has major cities across the world under a lockdown, people are getting ready to switch off all non-essential lights for an hour, in an attempt to contribute towards a greener future in whichever small way they can.
This year, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has announced that it will celebrate Earth Hour digitally between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm. It was WWF that had started the initiative back in 2007, since when it has become a global movement.
This year, despite our collective morale being low due to the spread of the pandemic, we saw many brands come together, to encourage people to follow Earth Hour. Here are some of the campaigns that we liked the most:
