Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma were blessed with a baby girl on January 11, 2021. To help the new dad navigate the challenges that might come in his way now, Pampers has launched a hilarious advertisement.

The ad features a few Indian dads talking about how raising a child is the biggest challenge amongst all and coach Virat Kohli on how to hold a baby right, how to bathe a baby, how to put the baby to sleep, how to change his baby’s diapers, etc., through cricket analogies.

Conceptualised by Leo Burnett, the ad aims to remind the audience that it takes two to raise a baby.

“Dear Virat, you’ve been there for the country so many times and it's time we’re there for you. We at Pampers believe that #ItTakes2 to raise a baby and here’s some fun advice from dads across the country. Because every dad needs a little help in the beginning - even the greatest of the greats!” read the ad’s YouTube caption.

#ItTakes2 is Pampers’ on-going campaign that reminds the audience that the involvement of both the mother and the father in baby chores and spending quality time with the baby is essential for the cognitive, social as well as emotional well- being of the baby.
