Advertising, marketing and public relations enters as one of the ‘Top 6’ industries in Randstad's, placement agency, Salary Trends Report. While it stands sixth in the junior and mid-level roles, it is a strong third in the senior level roles. There is a strong reason for this. According to Dentsu survey findings, ad spend in the APAC region will grow by 8 percent (of this, digital will comprise 54 percent of the total ad spend), and global spend is set to grow at 10.4 percent. There is a clear and uniform distinction between junior, mid-level and senior professionals across industries that speak of a motivated and aspirational path to growth.
