A British supermarket has made an ad that will actually make you look forward to the colder weather
British supermarket Waitrose has released an ad so British and warming that it might actually make you look forward to fall.
The soundtrack is "A Rather Blustery Day," a song from the 1967 Winnie the Pooh movie, and the ad depicts a typical British autumn: Windy and wet weather, dark nights, but also the family coming together inside for warming meals like roast lamb, macaroni cheese, pumpkin soup, and fruit crumble.
The commercial was created by Adam&EveDDB, the agency famed for its John Lewis Christmas ads. Waitrose and John Lewis are owned by the same company, the John Lewis Partnership.
John Lewis is currently airing an ad for its home insurance brand. It stars a little girl clumsily dancing around her home, dragging furniture along with her as she goes, to the soundtrack of Elton John's "Tiny Dancer."
