The Loft is located on 925 Market Street. This is the main entrance.
It's located in San Francisco's Mid-Market area, a gentrified district that has a growing number of offices for tech companies, including Twitter, Zendesk, and Quip.
Once you walk into the place, you're greeted by these computers. You have to register and get a pass to get in. It's free and open to the public.
The place gives off the vibe of a cool startup working space. The brick wall and swanky decorations look nice.

There was this nice little carpet, too. The pop-up loft first opened in June 2014 for only one month. But due to popular demand, it re-opened in September 2014 and has remained open since. There's another Loft in New York City.
The loft is 3-stories high and takes up nearly 5,000 square feet.
Most of the Loft is turned into an open work space. It's open to the public, so you can use the place even if you're not an AWS customer.
A couple desktops are available too.

There's a nice kitchen area on the second floor, with some free snacks too.
Of course, it needs a foosball table...
...and some Star Wars-inspired decorations.
There's a cozier workspace on the second floor, right next to the kitchen.

The events usually take place on the 3rd floor.
During the day, the event space turns into a normal working space. We went on a Friday afternoon, so it was pretty empty.
There's this closed room in the back too for more private conversations.
There were a lot of decorations with Intel's logo on it. Intel is one of the main sponsors of the AWS Loft.

"The loft is truly a learning environment where we can connect with those interested in AWS face-to-face. We feel like the Lofts have really become a community and having an open space, snacks, and most importantly access to experts to tap for AWS knowledge has been important in fostering that feel and environment," an AWS spokesperson told us.
