Xolo Win With Windows 8.1 Showcased In India

At the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, Microsoft had announced that it is now working with nine new Windows Phone partners and the list includes vendors like Foxconn, Gionee, JSR, Karbonn, Lava (Xolo), Lenovo, LG, Longcheer and ZTE.
We at Gizmodo India were happy to see the names of the Indian handset brands Lava and Karbonn mentioned in the list.
Today at a Microsoft event, the Indian handset and tablet maker Xolo showcased its Xolo Win Tablet.
This is the same AMD powered tablet that the company had launched at the CES 2014. It has a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 800 x 1280 and 2 GB of RAM with a 32 GB MultiMediaCard (MMC) reader. The tablet has a rear camera of 2 MP, a front camera of 1 MP and a 3550 mAh battery, which promises to give battery support of up to 6 hours.
The estimated price for Xolo Win is 21,999 and it will be available in the market by the end of the month.
The other tablets that were showcased at this event are Acer Iconia W4 – 820, Asus Transformer Book T100TA, Dell Venue 8 Pro, Lenovo Thinkpad 8, HP Omni 10, Panasonic Toughpad FZ-M1 and Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1.
