This week is going to be very exciting as far as new tech toys are concerned. There are a number of devices coming to our shores and after Nokia’s morning launch, it was time for NVIDIA and XOLO to bring their 7-inch tablet in front of the Indian audiences.

The new tablet has a long name, which is unusual for a gadget. It is called the ‘XOLO Play Tegra Note’ and has the latest goodies inside it from the popular graphic card maker NVIDIA. The tablet runs a 1.8 GHz Quad-core processor, has 1 GB RAM and for storage a 16 GB memory drive. But what is brilliant in this device is NVIDIA’s own 72 core graphics unit. This enables the users to play demanding games with ease. You can connect it to an HDTV to watch movies and play games on the large screen as well.

The 7-inch tocuhscreen supports HD resolutions and is not bad at all. The price of the device is not on the brighter side as well. While most 7-inch good tablets start from Rs 20,000, XOLO managed to keep its at Rs 17,999. This pits it against couple of other Indian manufacturers, but they are not as quick as this one is. Moreover, the alliance with NVIDIA for this tablet might reap good results for them.
