Gamers who get the Kinect version will also be able to use a number of extra features, including gesture controls, biometric sign-in, controller paring, Skype video calls and of course, the Kinect games. Interestingly, many of the entertainment features supported by the Xbox One will also be supported in India. Some of the main features highlighted are:

Game DVR/Upload: Players will be able record and upload their last 30 seconds of game with ease.

Apps: A plethora of apps specially designed for Xbox One will be available for download, including Twitch and Machinima. You can also download the IGN app to view our video content on the console.

TV on Xbox One: This is possibly the biggest and most talked about feature of the Xbox One. And thankfully, yes, Xbox One will support live TV watching from cable, telco, or satellite set-top boxes through the Xbox One HDMI-pass through.

On the games front, the launch line-up is also set to include all of the exclusives Microsoft has to offer:

- Forza Horizon 2 - Halo: The Master Chief Collection - Kinect Sports Rivals - Dead Rising 3 - Titanfall - Ryse: Son of Rome - Killer Instinct

More details about the launch titles, pricing, bundles and ways to pre-order will be revealed in the near future.

This will certainly make the new-gen market more competitive in India, as now both the major consoles will be available for the exact same price point. Which one will you be picking up? Let us know in the comments below.
