TCS announced average salary hike of about 8% for its employees in India, while India’s second largest software exporter Infosys rolled out average wage increase of 6.5% in March, reports the Economic Times.

The company said, earlier, that it would give double-digit salary hikes to top performers.
According to experts, employees in the IT sector are expected to get a 8%-10% average salary hike this year, but a top performer who has the right mix of technology and domain skills can expect more than double the average hike, going up to about 25% or even higher in some cases.
