Xiaomi's Mi Store app, which was launched in July on Google Play, is gaining popularity and has been downloaded over a million times in barely two months.
The Mi Store app allows people to browse and buy Xiaomi devices on the go.
Over 90% of Xiaomi's products in India are sold online, majorly through partner sites. In China, roughly 70% of its sales are online and primarily through Mi.com.
Xiaomi's step to promote sales through Mi.com comes ahead of its plans to manufacture in India in the next two years.
Last month, Xiaomi announced a partnership with Foxconn Technology Group of Taiwan to Make in India.
