The coming weekend, we will all be treated to Aamir Khan-staring PK. Generally, there is a lot of hype around a movie that stars Aamir Khan and PK is no different. There are some news reports which speculates that this movie might get to make Rs 50 crore on the opening Friday. The movie also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjay Dutt. Interestingly, PK will be released in 5,200 screens in India and 600 screens in the overseas.

As there is no holiday on this Friday, we are expecting the movie to remain in the 25-to-35-crore range, and pick steam over the weekend. We will not be surprised if the movie manages to get into the Rs 100 crore club in the first weekend from domestic sales alone. However, collecting a colossal Rs 50 crore during that period looks like a tall feet.
