Flipkart, the eCommerce giant is running its Big Billion Day Sale today, i.e., 6^th October 2014. While one might think that it’s flipkart’s strategy to encash the ongoing festive season and beat sales offered by its contemporaries, but these aren’t the actual reasons.

Today, Flipkart is amongst the leading eCommerce companies in India, with its latest acquisition being Myntra.com, in a deal of an estimated Rs 2,000 crores.
