After showing off his modelling skills when he graced the cover of India Today’s latest issue, Baba Ramdev showed off his football skills with a cameo performance at a charity football match in Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium last night.

We know what you’re thinking and to answer your doubts- nope he wasn’t wearing a jersey or any accepted sportswear. Instead, Baba Ramdev was scoring it up on the field wearing his trademark saffron dhoti and matching shoes, with not a care in the world.

Which brings to me my question- have we ever seen Baba Ramdev wearing anything except that saffron dhoti?

For now, I’ll keep the wondering to myself and move on with the story. The match, in question was played between Bollywood celebrities and Indian politicians to raise awareness for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two pet-projects -- the Swachh Bharat Mission and the Beti Bachao, Beti Badhao campaign for girl child empowerment. The tickets of the match, priced at Rs 200, Rs 400 and Rs 600 will go towards these two campiagns.

While Abhishek Bachchan led the All Stars Football Club that included Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Dino Morea and Sidharth Malhotra among others, the parliamentarians were led by minister of state for heavy industries Babul Supriyo.

We leave you with a picture of Baba Ramdev trying to score in a rather awkward pose. Bend it like Baba, indeed!
