We're About To Learn A Lot More About The Labor Market

The next three days will help us paint a clearer picture of what's happening with the labor market.

On Friday, of course, we get the Non-Farm Payrolls Report ("The Jobs Report"). Analysts expect about 165K new jobs.

Tomorrow we get initial claims data.

And today we get the (in?)famous ADP jobs report, which attempts to provide insight onto the private side of the NFP report.

The consensus is for 173K new private sector jobs, according to Calculated Risk.
