James Naughtie, one of British radio's most famous voices, gave an emotional farewell to listeners of the Today Programme this morning after 21 years presenting the BBC's flagship morning news and current affairs show.Sitting next to his co-host John Humphrys, he thanked listeners and for the last time said, "from John and from me, good morning." Fans of Naughtie will be pleased to hear that he will continue to contribute to BBC Radio 4 as a special correspondent and books editor. But for the millions of people who have spent the last two decades listening to Naughtie's Scottish brogue in the mornings, breakfast will never be the same again.
