Coupled with a flourishing ecosystem and strong government support, startups are fast becoming one of the major job creators in the country. But the startup industry is full of unanswered questions and myths. Aspiring Minds shatters some of these myths in its recent study ‘Startup jobs forecast for the organised sector’.

A study by Aspiring Minds revealed that as much as 47% entry level hiring in startups today is comprised of non - technical roles. The study also highlighted that unlike popular notion of startups hiring only for technical roles like that of a programmer or developer, there is growing demand for roles in marketing, digital media and content writing.

“Start-ups will be the mainstay for job growth for the next few years. We expect start-ups to create a north of 1, 00, 000 jobs this year with 80% of them in non - technical roles benefiting large masses of youth in the country,” said Himanshu Aggarwal, CEO, Aspiring Minds.
