Want Some Free Financial Advice? A Big Bank Advisor Is Taking Questions On Reddit

The best financial advice usually comes at a price –– whether it's a $25 self-help book from gurus like Suze Orman or Jean Chatzky, or the hefty fee financial advisors charge.

So it's nice when opportunities to get free advice pop up from time to time.

Right now, a financial adviser for a major credit card company is taking personal finance questions on Reddit. We've read the thread and his (or her) advice seems solid so far –– from handling debt settlement negotiations to revitalizing a canceled credit card. Every AMA participant is verified by moderators beforehand as well.

"I have been working for my company for over three years now and have been asked just about every question under the sun about finances, credit rewards, apr's, CD's, personal loans etc," he/she writes. "I have messaged the mods with my verification. Ask me anything!"

What are you waiting for?
