Wal-Mart Is Hiring 55,000 Associates For The Holiday Season

The retailer also plans to transition 35,000 part-time workers to full-time hours, according to The Wall Street Journal.
"In addition to the traditional hiring of seasonal help, we are expanding opportunities for the people that already work for us," said Gisel Ruiz, chief operating officer of Wal-Mart U.S., told WSJ.
Wal-Mart has 1.3 million U.S. workers.
