Waitress Uses Profanity To Insult Patron's Child On Receipt
A waitress reportedly used an expletive to describe a diner's young son on a receipt on Father's Day.
Joseph Gibson of St. Louis was furious after he received a receipt at Friendly's Sports Bar and Grill with a line under the special order section that said "f---in needy kids," CNN reported.
Gibson was eating at the sports bar with his young son. The bar normally doesn't allow people under the age of 21 to eat there, but the staff made a special exception for Gibson because of the holiday, according to CNN.
Gibson's son ordered a single chicken leg, which had to be typed into the system manually.
The owner of the bar told CNN the waitress intended the line as a joke, then forgot to delete it. She's been reprimanded but still works at Friendly's.
