Von Miller's pockets may be feeling a little lighter as he heads into the offseason.
That's because, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell, Miller failed to follow a key rule in the Denver Broncos' locker room this season: no farting.
Miller's teammates reportedly imposed a farting tax on Miller, costing him $500 per fart. Miller reportedly didn't keep his flatulence to himself this year:
Of course, this was reported by Rovell over a week ago, with Week 17 still to play, so it's possible Miller racked up even more fines.
This isn't the first time farting has been an issue for Miller. Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post reported in 2015 that Miller's teammates began fining him for his gas. Miller told Jhabvala in 2015 that it's not healthy for him to keep his farts to himself.
Farting was also a problem for Miller when he was on a recent season of "Dancing With the Stars." His partner, Witney Carson McAllister, followed the Broncos' lead and began fining Miller for his farts, though to no avail - he continued anyway.
Miller signed a five-year, $114 million deal this offseason, so luckily for him, he should be able to afford the fines.
Von Miller's teammates created a fart tax of $500. They caught him farting 30 times in a season which he says cost him $15K (H/T @mortyain)
