Virat Kohli, Indian Cricket team captain, votes from Gurugram

The Indian Cricketer and one of the finest batsmen in the world today, Virat Kohli casts his vote in Gurugram a while ago. He had earlier tried voting on 29th April in Mumbai where his wife Anushka Sharma also votes. He couldn't do it as it was too late for him to register himself through online procedures.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to urge Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma to vote.

Virat Kohli then took to Twitter to announce that he will vote from Gurugram. He shared a picture of his Voter ID card confirming that he'll vote from Gurugram. As per his Voter ID card, his registered address is in DLF Phase-1 Gurugram.

Kohli was one of the early voters as he cast his vote from "Pinecrest School in Gurugram", during the phase 6 of Indian general elections held on May 12.

The Indian cricket team captain is gearing up for the World Cup, which starts from May 30.
