Two collapsed cranes are seen in Alphen aan de Rijn, the Netherlands August 3, 2015.
Amateur footage shot by onlookers shows the cranes sat on a pontoon on the River Rhine lifting a massive section of the Queen Juliana Bridge before the weight of it drags both cranes down, crushing five buildings in its path.
The weight of the piece of bridge is clearly too much as the pontoon slowly starts tipping to the side causing both cranes to eventually slide off.
According to The Independent, one man was taken to hospital with a hip injury while reports of seven to 20 more injured victims were based on estimates of the number of people who could have been inside the buildings at the time.
Tom Koot from the local fire brigade told the Associated Press that his team was using sniffer dogs and machinery used in overseas earthquakes to find the victims in the rubble.
In the video, you can hear a woman screaming in the background as the structures come crashing down, flattening small shops and peoples' homes.
