Video footage shows the moment Roger Stone, a former informal advisor to President Donald Trump and an ally of the president, was arrested by the FBI in a pre-dawn raid at his home.
CNN filmed a number of FBI agents approach Stone's house in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the dark on Friday morning, holding guns and wearing bulletproof vests.
Special Counsel Robert Mueller indicted Stone, a longtime GOP strategist, with one count of obstruction, five counts of false statements, and one count of witness tampering, according to a Justice Department filing on Thursday.
An agent can be heard knocking on the door as a voice says "FBI. Open the door."
Stone opens the door to the agents.
Muller's investigation into Stone centered around Stone's contacts with Wikileaks, which he said in testimony before Congress that he had communicated with through intermediaries.
The filing repeatedly referred to Stone's contact with "Organization 1," which is believed to be WikiLeaks, which had "posted documents stolen by others" from the US government and citizens.
The filing said that Stone "released tens of thousands of documents stolen from" people including the Democratic National Committee and the personal email account of Clinton campaign chairman, John Podesta.
It also said that Stone deliberately obstructed investigations by the FBI, House Intelligence Committee, and Senate Intelligence Committee into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
