Venkatesh Kini to exit Coca-Cola

Venkatesh Kini, the president of Coca-Cola India, has decided to call it quits and would be ending his stint with the company after three and a half years.

Announcements regarding his replacement and any other changes in the leadership team would be announced later today.

In India, which is a critical market for the popular beverage maker, it has been seeing low single digit growth for at least six quarters, owing to a shift in consumers’ preference towards healthier beverages.
