US Supreme Court Will Not Review Argentina Bond Cases

The SCOTUS blog reports the U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear Argentina's bond case.

This was Argentina's last official means of avoiding have to pay a group of hedge funds who'd purchased Argentine debt more than a decade ago.

But as BI's Linette Lopez explained last week, Argentina may now take extraordinary measures to thwart the group, though this could backfire and lock the country out of financial markets.
