US CONSUMER CREDIT GROWTH SLOWS

U.S. consumer credit expanded by only $13.7 billion in January to $3.11 trillion (up 5.3% from a year earlier) after rising a downwardly-revised $15.9 billion in December, according to the latest data from the Federal Reserve.
