United Bank of India Announces Changes In Board

United Bank of India has nominated Ashok Kumar Dogra, deputy secretary of Department of Financial Services as the Govt. Nominee Director of the bank. The board changes were revealed by the company in a disclosure to the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Dogra comes in place of Mihir Kumar, who had been the government nominated director since September 2013. Kumar also served as a non-independent director under Clause 49 of the Listing Agreement as he was a part of the promoter group of the bank.

On the other hand, the company also informed NSE that Kiran B Vadodaria, a Part-Time Non Official Director of the bank has also vacated his position. Vadodaria was appointed on November 28, 2011 for a period of three years.
