UK Unemployment Falls To 6%
The UK unemployment rate fell to 6% in the three months to the end of September.
Pay was also up with pay including bonuses for employees in the UK 1.0% higher than a year earlier. Pay excluding bonuses for employees in the UK was 1.3% higher than a year earlier. This means UK workers finally saw real wage growth with wages growing faster that inflation, which dropped to 1.2% in September.
