UK Government Stunningly Rejects Prime Minister Cameron's Proposed Military Action On Syria

REUTERS/Andrew WinningUK Prime Minister David Cameron suffered a big blow late Thursday, as Britain's House of Commons rejected his motion for military action in Syria as a response to a deadly chemical weapons attack by the Assad regime last week.

After the vote, Cameron said that it was clear that Parliament did not want to intervene in Syria at this time, and that he would "act accordingly."
