Uber is gunning ahead in India, in a clear bid to knock-over competitors

US-based Uber wants to penetrate into smaller Indian towns and cities for which it has tied up with ItzCash.
Uber will work with regional teams of the digital payments solution provider and train shopkeepers and travel agents on how to tap Uber’s potential and explaining ease of technology to the customers.
"Uber is now accepting cash payments across cities in India and this move helps us move further into the interiors and hinterlands of India. A lot of these individuals may not be smartphone users so we enable these shops and small business owners to help them get familiar with the technology,” said Amit Jain, president of Uber India.
Uber wants to dethrone Ola from numero uno post and is doing everything it can do dominate the Indian market.
Uber might over take Ola as the former introduced cash payments also, making payment options flexible.
Experts point out that Ola’s expansion has been tremendous with presence in over 100 Indian cities and generating maximum of its business from 22 cities, where Uber also plies.
