Twitter is down for some users.

Many visitors to the site are being greeted with an error message, and desktop app TweetDeck is not functioning properly. The mobile app does not appear to be loading tweets either.

Twitter says that "some users are currently experiencing problems accessing Twitter. We are aware of the issue and are working towards a resolution."

The issues have been ongoing since at least 8.25 AM (UK time).

There was also a ten-minute downtime on Monday, according to Twitter's status page.
