Eleven-year-old Frank Giaccio first got the attention of the president when White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read his letter to him at a press briefing last month.

On Friday, the boy got to meet President Donald Trump in person - while mowing the lawn at the White House.

Frank, who runs his own landscaping service in Falls Church, Virginia, asked Trump in his letter if he could visit the White House on business.

"It would be my honor to mow the White House lawn some weekend for you," Frank wrote. "Even though I'm only ten, I would like to show the nation what young people like me are ready for."

Frank's request became reality when he was invited to the White House to mow the Rose Garden lawn and meet the president.

When Trump came out to greet Frank, the boy gave him a high five and then kept right on mowing.

"The future of the country right there," Trump said to reporters gathered in the garden. "We're lucky."

Trump tweeted his appreciation along with a video of Frank on Friday afternoon:

Frank said in an interview with CNN that he usually charges his neighbors $8 per lawn, but would waive his fees for the White House.
