President Donald Trump lashed out at some of his favorite targets in the media during a speech in Pennsylvania on Saturday, calling out NBC's Chuck Todd in particular.
Trump mentioned a 1999 appearance he made on NBC's "Meet the Press," which he noted is "a show now headed by Sleepy-Eyes Chuck Todd."
"He is a sleeping son of a b----, I'll tell you," Trump added.
Trump was in Pennsylvania to stump for GOP special election candidate Rick Saccone, but only mentioned him in passing. Instead, Trump spent much of the speech railing against his enemies and touting his accomplishments.
He went after CNN, too, for its coverage of his recent decision to accept a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
"Fake as hell CNN. The worst. So fake," Trump said, as the crowd chanted "CNN sucks." He continued: "And their ratings are lousy by the way, and compared to Fox."
Trump added that "a certain anchor, female" had said on CNN that Trump "would go down as a truly great president if this happened." But Trump accused the network of changing its tune shortly afterward.
Trump also went on to lambast NBC over its handling of The Apprentice, which he noted that Martha Stewart and Arnold Schwarzenegger "failed" to host.
"NBC is perhaps worse than CNN, I have to tell you," Trump said.
