Ananth Rupanagudi — Chief Project Manager at Indian Railways — shared his first glimpses of the Vande Bharat sleeper train set.

While he admitted that the trains required some crucial improvements, he praised the lighting and quality of the furnishing in the 3A, 2A and 1A coaches.

Similar to the Vande Bharat seater coaches, the images of washrooms show spacious Indian and Western style toilets.

In the first AC coach, the washrooms come with a shower and diaper changing platforms

The train will also come with a spacious washroom for physically challenged to facilitate wheelchair movement.

Like with the seater trains, the doors will open via door sensors.

This portion of the coach will come with a food warmer, bottle cooler and serving food trolley.

A dedicated berth will be provided to the coach attendant. Storage racks for the linen, a wash area with a dustbin and fire extinguisher near the door are also included.

These will be present at crucial places, such as for berth numbers and in the washrooms for soap dispensers and hand dryers.
