​National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA)

Supported by the Ministry of Culture, NGMA has works of artists like Raja Ravi Varma, Rabindranath Tagore, Gaganendranath and Abanindranath Tagore, Nicholas Roerich etc. It’s situated a few minutes away from the India Gate.

With works of Zaam Arif, Shailesh B.R., Manjit Bawa, Faiza Butt and a lot of other talented Indian artists, Vadhera art gallery is a good place to see works of Indian artists. This gallery is located in the Defence colony.

​Delhi Art Gallery

Established in 1993, Delhi Art Gallery is a great place if you want to check out works of modern Indian art. The bonus point is that there are no entry fees here. It is located on the Janpath road, New Delhi.

Situated in the Lado Sarai area of New Delhi, Exhibit 320 is a great place to explore contemporary Indian art. Here, you can find works of a lot of Indian artists including Deena Pindoria, Ahalya Rajendran and Avni Bansal.

​Dhoomimal Art Gallery

Being one of the oldest art galleries in Delhi, Dhoomimal Art Gallery has been a centre for contemporary art. It was established in 1936 and has exhibited many famous artists including M.F. Hussain.
