10 of the craziest cars to ever appear at the Tokyo Auto Salon

These two custom Mercedes-Benz SL600 were each covered with 300,000 Swarovski crystals.

Toyota covered one of its cars from head-to-toe in flowers at the Tokyo Auto Salon this year.

We bet it smells good.

Here we see a close-up of a holographic Lamborghini Aventador that was put on display at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Pretty trippy.

Here's another holographic Lamborghini from the 2015 show, this one with an orange hue.

This custom painted Lamborghini Murcielago at the 2015 show was made to look like a dragon. Even the side mirrors look like dragon claws.

We would be remiss not to include this Ferrari 458, which was painted to resemble a shark. It appeared at the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Here we see a Nissan R35 GT-R with intricate engravings and a custom paint job so it appears to be made out of gold.

Artists from Kuhl Racing, a Japanese company that sells original auto parts, outfitted the car with a fiberglass bodykit. Artists drew intricate shape that engravers then carved out on the custom body panels.

Lastly, the car was sprayed gold. You can see it at the show the 2016 show.

Suzuki Motor Corp had their minivehicle Wagon R painted special for the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon.

The psychedelic colors make this van a throwback to the '70s.

A Barbie pink Lamborghini Aventador is painted with a bull for the 2015 auto show.

This Fiat 500 looks like it's starting right back at us with its eyelash-covered headlights.

This car appeared at the 2013 auto show.
