As previously reported by The Next Web, the Japanese tech company is recalling 100,000 battery packs due to overheating issues.

These, the recall says, can cause "burn and fire hazards to consumers."

The recall is focused on the US and Canada, and comes after at least four Toshiba batteries in laptops have reportedly melted.

You can read the official recall here, and there's an app that can test your battery to see if it's affected available to download on Toshiba's website here.
