New Delhi, <keyword id="6360090" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="reliance-capital">Reliance Capital</keyword> (RCAP) debenture holders at their meeting held on January 5, passed the resolution with overwhelming majority for <keyword id="1187112" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="monetisation">monetisation</keyword> of its <keyword id="41933" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="assets">assets</keyword>. This comes on the back of shareholders having already approved RCAP monetisation.<br /><br />Reliance Capital had commenced its asset monetisation process - to unlock value of its underlying businesses which targets to make RCAP debt free.<br /><br />JM Financial Services Limited and SBI Capital Markets Limited ran an independent and transparent asset monetizsation process.<br /><br />Expression of interest for nine key assets was launched on October 31, 2020. <br /><br />EOI process received massive response for the nine key assets as multiple players have placed interest for each asset with some of them also expressing interest in all the assets.<br /><br />EOI applicants would now perform due diligence on each asset and submit binding bids for the nine key assets.<br /><br />Asset monetisation process is being run under the aegis of Committee of Debenture Holders and the Debenture Trustee Vistra ITCL India Ltd, which represents 93% of total outstanding debt of Reliance Capital.<br /><br />EOIs invited for all or part of RCL's stake in the following key subsidiaries and assets individually or in any combination thereof:<br /><br /><br />1. 100 per cent stake in <keyword id="157626" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Reliance-General-Insurance">Reliance General Insurance</keyword> Company Limited (RGI).<br /><br />Paid up capital of Reliance General Insurance is ₹252 crore as of September 30, 2020. It is the fifth largest Private General Insurance Company with a market share of 4.5% as of March 20 in the Private General Insurance category. Consistent growth in AUM Year-on-Year with investment book of ₹12,315 crore as on September 30, 2020. Performed its best even during Covid times with Gross Direct Premium Income of ₹4,501 crore during the first six months of FY20-21. Strong distribution network of 134 branches with amongst one of the largest agency force of 46,742 as of September 30, 2020 across the country.<br /><br />2. 51% stake in Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Company Limited (RNLI).<br /><br />Paid up capital of Reliance Nippon LifeInsurance is ₹1,196 crore as of September 30, 2020. RNLI is a joint <keyword id="6388493" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="venture">Venture</keyword> with Japan's largest life insurer - Nippon Life which holds 49% shareholding. It is the 10th largest Private Sector Insurer (in terms of Individual WRP) and amongst largest Non-Banca company with a network of 717 offices. Witnessed sharp turnaround in performance during FY19-20 with a profit after tax of Rs 35 crore and 75 per cent growth (12% CAGR) in Embedded Value over last four years.<br /><br />Impressive claim settlement ratio of 98.1% in FY19-20 and a higher Solvency ratio of 207% (as against regulatory requirement of 150%).<br /><br />As on September 30, 2020, the AUM was ₹21,912 crore. and an Individual Premium Market Share of 2.20% amongst private insurers.<br /><br />3. 100% stake in Reliance Securities Limited - Broking and distribution company offering services across asset classes including equities, commodities, derivatives, currency, mutual funds, bonds and corporate FDs.<br /><br />4. 100% stake in Reliance Financial Limited - RBI registered NBFC, engaged in the business of financing, money lending, capital market linked financing activities.<br /><br />5. 49% stake in Reliance Asset Reconstruction Limited: <br /><br /> Manages portfolio of ₹1,996 crore as on September 30, 2020. Reliance Capital debenture holders pave the way for asset monetisation

<p class="p1">If you're in San Francisco this week, you've probably noticed how crazy Dreamforce can be, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/dreamforce-shuts-down-san-francisco-2015-9">almost shutting down parts of the city</a> with all its festivities.</p><p class="p2">But amid all the activity going on, a little known company called Zoho has found a way to draw some attention away from San Francisco commuters.</p><p class="p2">It launched a guerrilla advertising campaign at the Powell St. station, one of the busiest areas in the city, plastering its own ads with pretty heady lines.</p><p class="p2">Even if you've never heard of Zoho before, which is highly likely if you're not in <keyword id="6356323" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Enterprise">enterprise</keyword> software, it would be impossible not to notice its posters - because they're literally all over the station.</p><p class="p3"><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Business Insider</span></p><p class="caption">Zoho ads at Powell Station.</p></div><p></p></div></div></p><p class="p3">"I guess you can call it guerrilla marketing. But the intent behind some of the campaigns we do is broader than that," Zoho's chief evangelist Raju Vegesna told us.</p><p class="p4">He said each of the posters have an important message directed at Salesforce. One of them, "Your Salesforce discount code: ZOHO," was inspired by the fact that Salesforce charges 5 times more than Zoho, while offering huge discounts if a customer says they're evaluating Zoho's product, he said.</p><p class="p4">Other messages were a play on the fact that Salesforce continues to lose money despite spending over half of their revenue on sales and marketing, Vegesna said.</p><p class="p4">"Here's a company that hasn't made money in the last 15 years…we are doing it to show their customers that there is a better alternative," he added.</p><p class="p4">Vegesna's comments may not be totally out of context. Although he declined to disclose Zoho's financials, he said the company's been profitable every year during its 9 years of existence, while never raising any outside money. It has over 15 million users, he said, from <a href="https://www.zoho.com/creator/customers.html">companies like HP, Oracle, and Adobe</a>, just to name a few.</p><p class="p4"><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Business Insider</span></p></div><p></p></div></div>Zoho's ambush marketing is only done in one train station this year, in addition to some areas at the airport and some billboards around the city. That's a little smaller in scale than in previous years, when Zoho launched similar campaigns at parking lots and buses, as well as street carts.</p><p class="p4">"We love Salesforce, but this is a competition we think we have a good chance against," Vegesna said.</p><p class="p4">Salesforce wasn't immediately available for comment for this story, but that may be intentional. Zoho's ambush marketing is drawn out of Salesforce's own playbook - like when it hired fake protesters to attack Siebel during big Siebel events over 10 years ago. Salesforce was just starting out back then, and it needed to get free press through the mock protests.</p><p class="p4"><span>"Twenty Siebel executives called the police, who immediately arrived to protect the protesters! <span>The resulting hullabaloo helped attract an even larger audience, and the police couldn't stop our mock protest because we were there legally," Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff <a href="https://www.salesforce.com/blog/2013/08/marc-benioff-on-marketing.html">wrote in his own book, "Behind the Cloud."</a> </span></span></p><p class="p4"><span><span><span>"This marketing stunt worked across many fronts: we built Salesforce.com morale, got great press coverage, and brought our competitor's customers to our event to hear our message," he wrote.</span></span></span></p>

<p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div>Domo, the $2 billion business intelligence startup helmed by former Omniture founder and <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/insiders-say-startup-domo-is-a-lot-of-hype-2016-5">inveterate showman</a> Josh James, has never been one to shy away from <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/domo-raises-200-million-at-a-2-billion-valuation-2015-4">big stunts to make a splash</a>.<p>Today, for instance, Domo is crashing competitor Tableau's conference in Austin, Texas&#xa0;- offering attendees free donuts and tickets to a party space that Domo rented across the street, and which will play host to&#xa0;performances from rappers Flo Rida and Snoop Dogg during the&#xa0;week.</p><p>For its part, Tableau, a $3 billion publicly-traded company, hasn't had a great year: Its shares are down more than 50% since January 1st, even after a <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/tableau-shares-up-after-new-ceo-from-amazon-web-services-2016-8">big rally when the company&#xa0;enlisted former Amazon exec&#xa0;</a><span><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/tableau-shares-up-after-new-ceo-from-amazon-web-services-2016-8">Adam Selipsky as CEO</a>.</span></p><p>In an <a href="http://www.forbes.com/sites/alexkonrad/2016/11/07/domo-crashes-tableau-party-looking-for-customers/#564177e91965">interview with Forbes</a>, Domo CEO Josh James says that his company, which acts as kind of a hub for business data, and Tableau, which makes software to turn data into intuitive charts and graphs, rarely go head-to-head for customers. But, James says, customers who buy Domo often end up dumping Tableau after, and he saw opportunity.</p><p>"<span>It felt to me that 90% of Tableau's business is fragile and vulnerable," James tells Forbes, who also confirmed that a large retailer just switched 800 software licenses from Tableau to Domo.</span></p><h2><span>"Escape Tableau Hell"</span></h2><p><span>Domo is sending staffers to this week's Tableau conference in shirts bearing the motto "<a href="https://www.domo.com/domoheaven">Escape Tableau Hell</a>," which shares a name with a special website the startup launched for the event. But given that James has boasted about <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/domo-raises-200-million-at-a-2-billion-valuation-2015-4">swearing customers to secrecy</a> and <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/domo-ceo-josh-james-interview-2016-3">lying to people </a>to keep the market guessing about his product plans, it's entirely in character for Domo.</span></p><p><span>For its part, Tableau seems to be&#xa0;taking Domo's audacious move in stride. Says a spokesperson:</span></p><p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span>"We're so excited for the week ahead. We are focused on making a great conference full of learning, innovation and networking for our 13,000 customers and partners this week. The Tableau community is filled with passionate people that are transforming their organizations with data and love Tableau!"</span></p><p>And, hey, only time will tell if it worked.
