The Redmi Note 14 is the successor of the Redmi Note 13 series and brings several improvements over its predecessor. The devices have already been launched in India. In this post, we look at the features of the upcoming Redmi Note 14 Pro+. <h2>Redmi Note 14 Pro+ specifications</h2>The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ runs on the company’s Hyper OS skin on top. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is the premium offering in the series and offers the best hardware and software features among the three siblings. The device features a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2560Hz instant touch sampling rate, up to 3000 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. The device offers up to 16GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. At the moment, there is no information on which storage variants will be launched in India. The device features a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with Light Fusion 800 sensor, OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with Sony IMX355 sensor and a 50MP portrait sensor with Samsung S5KJN1 sensor. It comes with a 20MP front camera with OmniVision OV20B sensor. The device is powered by a 6,200mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. The device features an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. Redmi Note 14 Pro+ to launch in India on December 9 – everything we know so far

Luxury car maker <keyword id="19980471" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mercedes-Benz" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="Mercedes-Benz" meta.hostid="261" meta.entityid="Mercedes-Benz">Mercedes-Benz</keyword> India on Monday expanded its <keyword id="20763359" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Battery-Electric-Vehicle" source="keywords">Battery Electric Vehicle</keyword> (BEV) range in the country with the launch of the locally produced <keyword id="23188212" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="EQS-580-4MATIC" source="keywords">EQS 580 4MATIC</keyword>. India is the first country outside the US to start the <keyword id="20805504" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="local-production" source="keywords">local production</keyword> of the seven-seater electric SUV. EQS SUV 580 4MATIC is the second model, after the EQS sedan, to be locally produced at company's Pune-based manufacturing plant. "This will be our sixth EV in India, and the second car to be locally produced in India. We are also proud that India becomes the first market out of the US to locally manufacture the EQS," Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Santosh Iyer told PTI in an interaction. The move to manufacture the product locally outlines the company's commitment to electrification and increasing product portfolio offering choices to customers, he added. "EQS SUV's localisation underpins our deep commitment to grow the Indian <keyword id="23188213" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="luxury-electric-car" source="keywords">luxury electric car</keyword> market and reinforce our commitment for a greener and sustainable future," Iyer said. The move also supports the government's vision of Make-in-India, he said. Iyer said local production has led to a significant advantage in terms of pricing the electric SUV. The introductory price of EQS SUV 580 4MATIC starts at Rs 1.41 crore which should also make a lot of customers shift to EVs much faster in terms of transition, he said. When asked about the demand for green vehicles, Iyer said the sales of EVs were growing in the country with even high-end products finding acceptance. "The EQA sedan which was introduced in India around 18 months back, we have sold more than 500 cars. It's a car costing more than Rs 1.6 crore. Our total penetration of EVs is 5 per cent today, it's growing. For sure, customer acceptance is there," he stated. Iyer noted that the company remains committed to offer top-end luxury EV products offering higher range in the market. He noted that there may be more opportunities in the entry EV segment but the focus of the company firmly remains on bringing luxury products in the market. "To bring products at lower price points, that is not our current strategy," Iyer said. The company aims to offer products with higher driving range, a factor that leads to bigger battery and escalation in price, he added. The EQS SUV 580 4MATIC is India's longest range electric SUV with ARAI certified range of 809 kms. Iyer said the company remains committed to the Indian market and has announced an additional investment of Rs 200 crore earlier towards manufacturing operations, new product start-ups and digitisation of manufacturing processes. The company till date has invested over Rs 3,000 crore in India, he added. In the January-September period this year, Mercedes-Benz India has launched three new BEVs ' EQA, EQS SUV 580 and Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 SUV. With the EQS SUV 580 4MATIC, the company now offers the EQA, EQB, EQE SUV, EQS SUV, EQS sedan and Maybach EQS SUV 680 in the market. Mercedes expands BEV range; rolls out second locally produced model in India

Xiaomi is a distant third with a 13.5% market share. "In Q3 2024, older iPhone models, specifically the iPhone 15, performed exceptionally well due to the heavy promotions and increased marketing activities around Apple Intelligence,” Popal added. Global smartphone shipments record 4% growth in Q3 2024, Samsung leads the market

This means that Xiaomi lost about $9,200 for each car. In a strategy shift that Ford says will initially cost the company nearly $2 billion, the American automaker is replacing the canceled electric SUVs with <keyword id="20810032" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Hybrid-models" source="keywords">hybrid models</keyword>, its chief financial officer, John Lawler, told reporters on a Wednesday-morning call. After assessing current pricing pressure on EVs, the cost of a battery large enough to power three-row SUVs, and <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tesla-cant-impress-new-ev-buyers-thats-a-problem-2024-7">taking into account consumer demand</a>, Lawler said that Ford wouldn't be able to meet its goal of achieving profitability for the previously planned electric SUVs within the first year of launch. Lawler said this new family of hybrid SUVs would include a variety of propulsion options but did not specify whether that would include a plug-in hybrid option or provide details on when these cars would go on sale. <h2>EV growing pains</h2>Ford's revised EV strategy is just the latest in <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/automakers-back-to-the-drawing-board-ev-plans-2024-2">a series of shifts</a> from car companies this year as they adjust to a more practical and frugal group of EV shoppers. A slew of high-end EVs have hit dealer lots after years of development. At the same time, the wealthy early adopters these cars were designed for are dropping out of the market. The company has claimed that the device will come with extensive AI-powered features for the cameras, including AI adaptive stabilisation and AI photo enhancement.
