All the exit polls have predicted a comfortable win for the BJP. According to News18 exit poll, BJP is going to win 4-5 seats in Uttarakhand while Indian National Congress may not even bag single seat. On the other hand, Today’s Chanakya has predicted full majority for BJP in Uttarakhand with Congress winning zero seats. Uttarakhand state has five Lok Sabha seats in total to give the parliament. As per the Election Commission’s announcement, polling for all these five seats during the Lok Sabha elections 2019 was held in a single phase on April 11, when the country went for the first round of polling. At present, the BJP holds all the five seats in the state having faced a momentous victory in 2014 general elections for the Lok Sabha. The three major parties facing the elections from the state are BJP, Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). Across the five constituencies of the state, 52 candidates are lined up to test their lucks this time. The most prominent regional party in the state, the Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) is also contesting from all the five seats during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In Tehri Garhwal seat, Mala Rajya Lakshmi, the BJP sitting MP is taking on Pritam Singh of Congress. From the Garhwal constituency, Tirath Singh Rawat of BJP is fighting with the Congress candidate Minish Khanduri. BJP has fielded Ajay Tamta from Alomora, Ajay Bhatt from Nainital-Udhamsingh Nagar and Ramesh Pokhriyal from Haridwar. They will lock horns with the Congress candidates of Pradeep Tamta in Almora, Harish Rawat from Nainital-Udhamsingh Nagar and Ambrish Kumar from Haridwar respectively.

The twin wedding celebrations of Suryakant Gupta and Atul Gupta saw the hills turn to a mega spectacle attended by Bollywood celebrities and ministers. With these celebrations came a massive 200 tonnes of waste. After public furore, the Gupta family agreed to make reparations for the waste from weddings that took place between June 18 to 22. The Gupta family has already deposited ₹54,000 with the Municipal Corporation. They have also agreed to pay the complete amount that goes into cleaning and disposal of the waste, <a href="https://www.aninews.in/news/national/general-news/ukhand-gupta-family-to-pay-entire-cost-of-waste-disposal-in-auli20190625074642/">reported ANI</a>. The Municipal Corporation has employed 20 workers for cleaning the site. This issue receive attention after a PIL was filed on the damages caused to the environment. The court has given instructions to the District Administration and the Pollution Control Board to submit a report on the harm caused by celebrations, by July 7. The next hearing on the PIL is scheduled to be on July 8. “Over 150 quintals of waste has been cleaned up till now. After the cleaning work is complete the total bill of all the expenses, including manual labour and vehicles, will be sent to them. The family has agreed to pay the entire bill and also provide a vehicle to the municipality,” Shailendra Panwar, Municipality President, he <a href="https://www.aninews.in/news/national/general-news/ukhand-gupta-family-to-pay-entire-cost-of-waste-disposal-in-auli20190625074642/">told ANI</a>.

Besides Uttarakhand and <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/modi-hopes-record-development-in-up-with-yogi-adityanath-as-cm/articleshow/57717700.cms">Uttar Pradesh</a>, there would be 10 new stores each in Maharashtra, <keyword id="37102" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Andhra-Pradesh">Andhra Pradesh</keyword> and <keyword id="68884" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Telangana">Telangana</keyword>. 
 
Talking of UP and Uttarakhand, there might be two more stores coming in Lucknow, along with Ghaziabad, Noida, Kanpur, Allahabad, Haridwar, Dehradun and Haldwani.

These stores provide direct and indirect employment to 2,000-2,500 persons each, and opening stores at this level means that the company may end up creating over 40,000 jobs in UP and Uttarakhand combined.
