The company has fixed a price band of ₹552-554 per share for its IPO that will close on October 1. The company said the bidding for anchor investors would open on September 28. The UTI Asset Management Company will compete against its likes — Nippon Life India Asset Management and HDFC AMC on the stock exchanges. The shares of the UTI AMC will list on both the stock exchanges, BSE and NSE. The 17-year old company has some marquee names in its shareholder’s list, such as— SBI, LIC, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, and the US-based T Rowe Price. Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders ₹444 crore IPO The state-owned defence firm Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders ₹444 crore initial public offering will open for bidding on September 29. The company has set the price band for the at ₹135-145 per share. The issue will close for subscription on October 1, the company said in a virtual press conference. The shares of the Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders are proposed to be listed on both the stock exchanges, BSE and NSE. Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders is engaged in the construction and repair of warships and submarines for use by the Indian Navy and other vessels for commercial clients. Likhitha Infrastructure Limited ₹61.2 crore IPO A Hyderabad-headquartered oil and gas pipeline infrastructure service provider Likhitha Infrastructure ₹61.2 crore IPO will hit the primary market on September 29. The company has set the price band for IPO at ₹117-120, and the public offer will remain open until October 1. The company has a strong client base such as ONGC, HCG, Indian Oil, GAIL, among others, to name a few. The minimum bid for the IPO has been set at a lot of 125 shares or in multiples thereof. The company has a strong financial record with its revenue growing at a compound annual growth rate of 22% and the profit at 41% during FY18-FY20. Likhitha Infrastructure Limited order book as of July was approximately ₹950 crore. Three more IPOs to hit the Indian market next week —  Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, UTI AMC and Likhitha Infrastructure

And as many as 80 companies have approached SEBI in the current fiscal year to get the necessary approvals for IPOs, according to Geojit Financial Services. Let’s take a look at some of the upcoming IPOs scheduled this year: Equitas Small Finance Bank The Chennai-based microfinance lender, Equitas Small Finance Bank (SFB), is looking to raise ₹532 crore from the IPO. The initial public offering will open on October 20 and will remain open till October 22. The company has appointed JM Financial, Edelweiss Financial Services, and IIFL Securities as its book running lead managers to the issue. RailTel’s ₹700 crore initial public offering The state-owned RailTel Corporation has filed a Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for an initial public offer of up to 8.66 crore equity shares. The company is likely to raise ₹700 crore through the IPO, a complete offer for sale by the Central government. It has appointed ICICI Securities, IDBI Capital, SBI Capital Markets as the book running lead managers to the issue. ESAF Small Finance Bank The Kerala-based ESAF Small Finance Bank had filed DRHP in January and subsequently got the approval from SEBI at the end of March. However, the bank delayed its initial public offering due to the volatile market conditions and said it would take a call on ₹976-crore initial public offering (IPO) after September. The ₹976-crore IPO of ESAF Small Finance Bank will comprise a fresh issue worth ₹800 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) aggregating up to ₹176.2 crore. Kalyan Jewellers Kerala based Jewellery maker, Kalyan Jewellers, is also expected to launch a ₹1,750 crore initial public offering (IPO) in <a href="http://www.marketsguruji.com/upcoming-ipos-in-india/">November</a>. The ₹1,750 crore IPO will be the largest in its sector. The issue will consist of a fresh fundraise of ₹1,000 crore and offer of sale by promoter TS Kalyanaraman and private equity firm Warburg Pincus of ₹750 crore. Burger King One of India'sIndia's fastest-growing food chains, Burger King, is also in line to raise as much as ₹1,000 crore by initial public offering. The firm aims to utilise the funds to double the number of restaurants by 2025, where it currently operates 216 in India, as per its DRHP. Burger King IPO is also likely to hit the market in November this year. Bajaj Energy The ₹5,450 crore IPO of Uttar Pradesh-based, one of the largest private-sector thermal generation companies, Bajaj Energy, is expected to hit the market by the end of this year. The IPO comprises fresh issuance of shares aggregating up to ₹5,150 crore and an offer for sale of scrips up to ₹300 crore by the promoter Bajaj Power Ventures, according to its DRHP. Some of the companies coming up with IPOs include MilkBasket, Lodha Developers, Anand Rathi Wealth Management, Barbeque Nation, NSE, Indian Railways Finance Corporation, among others. IPOs have raked in nearly $180 billion so far in 2020 — Here’s a look at some other companies that may go public this year

Policybazaar, Sigachi Industries and SJS Enterprises are looking to altogether raise ₹6,634 crore in the first week of November. All three IPOs will open on November 1 and close on November 3. At the same time, the beauty and fashion ecommerce company Nykaa worth ₹5,352 crore issue size is opening its <keyword id="6354763" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ipo" source="Orion">IPO</keyword> tomorrow, October 28, which will close on November 3. Meanwhile, investors are awaiting announcement on IPO dates of fintech players Paytm, MobiKwik and edible oil maker Adani Wilmar, which may also open in November. PolicyBazaar PB Fintech, the parent company of online fintech marketplaces PolicyBazaar and PaisaBazaar, is coming with an IPO next week. The issue size of the IPO is ₹5,709 crore consisting of a fresh issue of ₹3,759 crore and an offer for sale of ₹1,959 crore by its existing shareholders PB Fintech has built two of the largest platforms for insurance and lending products through PolicyBazaar and PaisaBazaar. PolicyBazaar is one among a slew of tech IPOs to hit the Indian exchanges this year. It is also one of the country’s top fintech startups ⁠— the other one being Paytm ⁠— going for a public issue soon. 95% of PolicyBazaar’s revenue comes from commissions from insurance companies on selling policies. Sigachi Industries The Hyderabad-based manufacturer of cellulose-based excipients, Sigachi Industries, is looking to raise ₹125.43 crore by selling 76.95 lakh shares. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of microcrystalline cellulose, the polymer that is widely used for finished dosages in the pharmaceutical industry. It operates through three manufacturing units in Hyderabad and Jhagadia, Dahej located in Gujarat. The proceeds from the issue will be used for expansion of production facilities of MCC at Dahej and Jhagadia in Gujarat. SJS Enterprises SJS Enterprises, one of the leading players in the Indian decorative aesthetics products industry, will also open its IPO alongside PolicyBazaar and Sigachi Industries on November 1. The IPO consists of a pure offer for sale of ₹710 crore by Evergraph Holdings Pte and ₹90 crore by KA Joseph. Currently, Evergraph Holdings and KA Joseph hold 77.86% and 20.74% stake in the company, respectively. It also manufactures a wide range of aesthetics products that cater to the requirements of the commercial vehicles, medical devices, farm equipment and sanitary ware industries. Life insurance giant LIC is looking to raise ₹1 lakh crore through the public issue, said a <a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/in-a-1st-lic-looks-to-split-mega-ipo-into-2-offerings/articleshow/85286974.cms">report</a> by The Times of India, quoting sources it did not name. While this will be the largest public offering the country has ever seen, it will also be the first ever IPO to open in two parts. Officials involved in the IPO process believe that with so many offers already closed and several others in the pipeline till the LIC offer comes to the market, a large amount of investors’ funds will already be absorbed, said the report. Also, the IPO is seen to have cornerstone investors, marquee asset managers who could put in large funds ahead of the IPO. Usually, government-owned companies don’t opt for any type of share placement with investors before an offer. The term cornerstone investors is generally understood to refer to that class of investors who commit in advance to invest a fixed amount of money, or for a fixed number of shares, in an IPO. In this year’s union budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that the LIC IPO would be completed this fiscal (FY22). So far 41 IPOs have already been listed on the BSE in 2021. The company is looking to raise ₹5,000 crore through IPO, as per the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) filed by the company on May 9, 2021. The IPO comprises a fresh issuance of shares worth ₹1,500 crore and an offer for sale worth ₹ 3,500 crore by the promoter. In terms of its manufacturing capacity, Nuvoco Vistas -- formerly known as Lafarge India Limited -- is the fifth largest cement company in India and the largest cement company in east India, as per the DRHP filings. It also is one of the leading ready mix concrete manufacturers in India and has grown from being a cement focused entity to now a building materials company offering more than 50 products across cement, ready mix concrete and modern building materials sold under well-established brand names such as Concreto, Duraguard, Double Bull, ZeroM and Instamix. With the net proceeds the company looks to repay some of its borrowings worth ₹1,350 crore. The company believes that the central government’s focus on roads, railways, urban infrastructure and irrigation will boost infrastructure investments. As part of its FMCG product portfolio, it manufactures active ingredients used in sunscreen lotions and creams, antibacterial soaps, anti-dandruff shampoos, and preservatives. The Company is also the largest manufacturer of ‘piroctone olamine’ in India, and the largest producer of ‘chemilide’ (an antibacterial ingredient) in the world with an approximate market share of 70% market share.
