New Delhi, <keyword id="6360099" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="delhi-university">Delhi University</keyword> released the fifth and final cut-off list for its ongoing admission process for undergraduate courses. However, seats for most of the courses are already full but some seats under PWD, SC, OBC and ST quota are still vacant.<br /><br />Delhi University Registrar Vikas Gupta on Saturday said, "Fifth and last cut-off list released by the university will be displayed in various colleges from Monday. Delhi University releases fifth cut-off list

The online registration for admissions in <keyword id="6355632" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mumbai-University">Mumbai University</keyword> for the undergraduate and diploma courses will close today. The students seeking admission in the university for the upcoming academic session will have to register on the official website by 5 pm.<br /><br /><br />The applicants can register on mu.ac.in. Alternatively, students can apply for the university courses at mum.digitaluniversity.ac.<br /><br /><br />Post the registration process, the university is expected to release the first merit list next week on 13 June, followed by the document verification on 14 June.<br /><br /><br />The varsity rolls out three merit lists for admission to undergraduate and diploma courses. In Social sciences, DU and JNU are in Top 400.<br />

<p><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">Although the reputation rankings aren't as objective as their <a href="http://www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/world-university-rankings/2012-13/world-ranking">annual World University Rankings</a> — which <span>employs 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators</span> — the brand evaluation is based on "the</span><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;"> expert judgement of senior, published academics."</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">Australia<span> stepped up to the world stage as it now has six <keyword id="48403" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="universities">universities</keyword> represented in the top 100 while the <a href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/datablog/2013/mar/05/world-top-100-universities-reputation-rankings-times-higher-education">UK has lost three institutions</a> from the world top 100 list since the first reputation rankings in 2011.</span></span></p>

The Most Respected Universities In The World

<ul class="summary-list"><li>An <a href="https://www.insider.com/disney-world-or-universal-which-is-better-review-photos-2021-7">annual pass at Universal</a> ($290) is cheaper than one month of rent at my office space ($550).</li><li>The park has good WiFi and a lot of spots I can <keyword id="11896063" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="work" source="Orion">work</keyword> from. Plus, my pass got me discounts on food.</li></ul><p>In 2020, I decided to turn an <a href="https://www.insider.com/disney-world-disneyland-which-is-better-trip-review-photos-2021-11">amusement park</a> into my workspace. </p><p>Once I realized an annual pass at <a href="https://www.insider.com/christmas-at-universal-is-better-than-disney-world-review-photos-2021-12">Universal Studios</a> cost less than one month of my office space's rent and was much more fun, there was no turning back.</p><p>Here's what the experience was like: </p><h2>Moving from a traditional office space to an amusement park was easy since I just needed solid WiFi </h2><p>Like many, I left a traditional office space behind because of the pandemic.</p><p>To cut my overhead expenses, I stopped renting the office space I shared with one other person that cost me $550 a month. The space was very basic and had fewer than 150 square feet.</p><div type="image" title="The writer's former office space with a couch, cream walls, and decor" height="2544" width="5118" msid="88741361" hostid="261"></div><p>My only work requirement is a solid internet connection, so instead of setting up a desk at home, I bought an annual pass to <keyword id="12168694" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="universal-studios" source="Orion">Universal Studios</keyword>.</p><p>It may be surprising to hear, but most theme parks have incredibly fast, complimentary WiFi.</p><h2><strong><keyword id="12063278" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="universal" source="Orion">Universal</keyword> Studios Hollywood's annual gold pass cost me $290</strong></h2><div type="image" title="The writer holding her annual pass" height="3024" width="4032" msid="88741365" hostid="261"></div><p>I've <a href="https://www.insider.com/best-theme-parks-in-the-united-states-expert-reveals-2021-10">had annual passes to Disney parks</a>, but this was my first time purchasing one to Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles.</p><p>I bought the second-highest-level annual pass, the gold pass, for $290. </p><p>This pass has very few block-out dates — days when annual pass holders can't use their pass to get into the parks — throughout the year. I frequently purchased lunch while in the park, and I <a href="https://www.insider.com/best-ways-to-save-money-at-universal-orlando-2021-7">learned a few money-saving hacks along the way</a>.</p><p>For the most cost-effective dining option, I often purchased a meal from the children's menu. The kids meals were pretty high quality and came in generous portion sizes for a lunch.</p><p><a href="https://www.insider.com/disney-world-or-universal-which-is-better-review-photos-2021-7">With the discount</a>, these meals averaged about $8 — cheaper than buying lunch from some other popular chains.</p><div type="image" title="A universal meal with a soda, potato wedges and mac and cheese" height="3024" width="4032" msid="88741517" hostid="261"></div><p>My favorite place to get lunch in the park is Three Broomsticks in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I gave up my office space to work out of Universal Studios instead. It's saved me thousands and it's more fun.

According to a press release, the arena — which seats 5,000 people — was custom-made for the Miss Universe pageant and imported from Portugal.</p><p>Paula Shugart, the president of the Miss Universe organization, said Israel had been on the pageant's wish list of host countries for years. The contestants have been able to take advantage of the location with visits to the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv leading up to the competition. </p><p>"We look forward to deepening our commitment to creating meaningful cultural conversation, connection, and understanding through this partnership," Shugart told Insider. </p><h2>The pageant will be airing live on Fox and Telemundo </h2><p>Miss Universe fans can watch the pageant live in English on Fox or in Spanish on Telemundo at 7 p.m. ET. </p><p><a href="https://www.insider.com/photos-of-women-competing-to-be-miss-universe-2021-12">Eighty women from around the world</a> will compete for the crown. How you can watch the 2021 Miss Universe pageant from home

<br /><ul><li><strong>The <keyword id="56459" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="University-Grants-Commission">University Grants Commission</keyword> released a list of 23 ‘fake universities’ in India.<br /></strong></li><li><strong>Of the total 23 universities, 14 have been on the <keyword id="44171" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="UGC">UGC</keyword>’s list from 2005 — including Commercial University, United Nations University, Vocational University among others.<br /></strong></li><li><strong>Despite that, several universities have also claimed on their websites that they are approved by the UGC.</strong></li></ul>This admission season, the University Grants Commission is providing a much-needed reality check to prospective students and their parents. It released a list of <a href="https://indianexpress.com/article/education/ugc-releases-fake-universities-list-up-delhi-has-the-most-ugc-ac-in-5845473/">23 ‘fake universities’</a>. Unfortunately, they are all functional, though unrecognised under the UGC Act.<br /><br />Most of such universities are from Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. These include Vishwakarma Open University for Self-Employment, Varanaseya Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Indian Institute of Science and Engineering, Delhi and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose University.<br /><br />This is not the first time that these colleges have featured in the UGC’s annual list of fake universities. Several of these universities continue to claim that they are approved by the UGC on their websites.<br /><br />Badaganvi Sarkar World Open University Education Society, Karnataka, St. John's University, Kerala and Raja Arabic University, Maharashtra have been operational since 2005, despite the UGC’s checklist.<br /><br />The University Grants Commission set up an anti-malpractice cell in 1995 to register complaints on established fake universities. UGC declared 23 Indian institutions as fake universities — and they have been ‘fake’ for over a decade now

"We will be exploring a mixed approach with some material delivered in classroom and lab settings while other classes will continue to be online."</p><p>Most classes at CSU's 23 campuses will remain online as well, with "limited exceptions for in-person activities that cannot be delivered virtually, are indispensable to the university's core mission and can be conducted within the rigorous standards of safety and welfare," CSU Chancellor Timothy White told the board of trustees during an online call, KCBS-TV reported.</p><p>"This is a new and expensive reality for us," White said. "For those limited courses where in-person instruction is indispensable and can be justified, enrollment per section will be less."</p><p>The announcement came amid a flurry of student frustrations over the value of their education without in-person classes. The University of California, and California State University systems plan to remain mostly online for fall semester
