They explained that scorching heat and rising temperatures in recent times have led to this increase in <keyword id="45847" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="forest-fire" source="Orion">forest fire</keyword> occurrence.<br /><br />Fires have been reported in forest areas like Muyalparai, <keyword id="16663915" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="ullakurutti" source="Orion">Ullakurutti</keyword> and Pichangarai. Luckily, the forest department have been able to extinguish the fires in the preliminary stage itself.<br /><br />Forest officials have been closely monitoring the forests in case of further incidents.
