The bank's previous target was $39. "We are raising our estimates on Twitter shares as we believe advertising momentum is strengthening, particularly among large marketers," analyst Doug Anmuth said in a note to clients. "Industry conversations suggest the value for advertisers on TWTR is increasing, driven by double-digit daily-active-user growth (6 straight quarters), improving product for both users &amp; marketers (especially video), higher click-thru rates &amp; ad engagement, &amp; better pricing as cost per engagement (CPE) continues to decline (we estimate -29% in 2018)."JPMorgan estimates Twitter can post ad revenue growth of 27% for the second quarter and continue through the rest of 2018, noting that even its fourth quarter estimate of 21% growth "likely remains conservative."The World Cup, which kicks off in Russia this week, can also be a boost for Twitter, the bank says. The company has <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/espn-is-increasing-its-online-presence-with-new-twitter-shows-2018-5">a history streaming sports</a>, even before this tournament."While we are not making any changes to our user estimates, we believe FWC also has the potential to increase DAUs and MAUs in 3Q, likely more international than in the US," Anmuth said. "Live events and sports drive more engagement on Twitter as evidenced by the 672 million tweets sent during the 2014 Fifa World Cup, 45 million tweets sent during Super Bowl 2018 (4.8 billion impressions), and 33 million tweets sent during the 2017-18 College Football season (4.9 billion impressions). The World Cup could send Twitter's stock soaring, JPMorgan says

He says “a true content marketing strategy is focused on adding value to the target consumer by delivering stories that make an impact on an emotional level and inspire and nurture them, as opposed to a typical advertising strategy which is all about persuasion and interruption.” 
 
“A good content strategy can live for years, it’s not just a great campaign..” he adds. 
 
As the man points out that most brands have just dipped their toes into the shallow end of the content marketing pool, and many are now ready to expand their efforts in a significant way, he takes us through the most important learnings from 2015 and upcoming trends going into 2016. 
 
The Rise of the Specialist Content Marketing Agency:

With their big ideas, large campaigns and product promotions, they don’t really know how to develop a comprehensive content marketing strategy. But now, new kind of agencies are coming up which bring together a unique collection of skillsets with them like Strategy (to define the brand’s overarching content themes, target personas, value exchange, the right content mix), The definition of success (Goals, benchmarks, KPIs and how they will be measured), Creation (developing content at scale, Utilize content marketing platforms, Tech (to build and integrate technology platforms, analytics systems and marketing automation solutions), Media (to distribute content at scale for increased exposure and discovery); Data (to measure the success of the content program and help optimize all efforts like content creation, amplification efforts, engagement and shareability, conversions.” 
 
Owned Content Gets More Focus

“That creates opportunities for Collecting associated data, not just summary reports; Building audience cookie pools for retargeting; Optimizing for engagement and conversions; Gaining SEO and organic sharing value; Building a CRM program for continuation of (free) messaging to audiences; Expanding strategy from providing informational value to utility value,” says Gilad De Vries. 
 
A New Content Marketing Currency: CPE 
 “As marketers become more sophisticated about leveraging a multitude of platforms to drive content amplification (like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Outbrain, <keyword id="10879" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="YouTube">YouTube</keyword>) they need to find a way to compare performance between and across these channels. In many cases, the initial focus of content marketing optimization efforts has been in traffic acquisition and engagement with content. Only after engagement is understood can one move on to the next step, which is optimizing that engagement towards actions/conversions. Some brands don’t necessarily have clear conversion goals to optimize for in the first place. How can they make effective assessments of the performance on these discovery channels/platforms? On one platform you might buy traffic by presenting audiences with a banner which you pay for on a cost per thousand impressions (CPM) basis. On another platform, you paid per click with your content (CPC). One channel may drive a higher percentage of unique users but at a high bounce rate, and the other, low bounce rates with low page views per session,” he says. 
 
Tailoring Content For Different Platforms 
 Gilad further points out: “One size doesn’t fit all in content marketing and as brand managers and CCO’s (Chief Content Officers) get better at it, they’ve come to understand the need for different tones across platforms. Content cloning doesn’t necessarily strike a chord on each of the powerhouse platforms like Twitter, Facebook or <keyword id="939877" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Pinterest">Pinterest</keyword>. Moreover, the kind of content you create for your blog is vastly different than the kind of content that translates on <keyword id="819905" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Instagram">Instagram</keyword> or Snapchat. 
 When looking at the content landscape, marketers need to carefully select the platforms they want to participate on and define a strategy for each.
