According to <keyword id="48217" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="sterlite-technologies" source="Orion">Sterlite Technologies</keyword>, telecom operators need to look at fiberisation with a futuristic lens. The company said tower fiberisation must increase from about 35 per cent to 80 per cent to provide high quality 5G services. Additionally, 5G will require upto 4X small cells, backhauled with fibre, Sterlite Technologies said. The company said India's fibre space is constrained by deployment speed and scale. 5G Cosmos is an Atmanirbhar, patented solution that can solve these challenges and connect every tower, small cell and node, the company claimed. Launching 5G Cosmos at IMC 2022, Pankaj Miglani, Director <keyword id="6699920" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="supply-chain-management" source="Orion">Supply Chain Management</keyword>, <keyword id="6354287" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="bharti-airtel" source="Orion">Bharti Airtel</keyword>, said: "We are readying our infrastructure for 5G and fiberisation is a core need. We are happy to see the use cases that 5G Cosmos can solve for telcos and enable us to deliver a great 5G experience to our customers." Ankit Agarwal Manaing Director, Sterlite Technologies said: "Indian telecom operators are ready to install fibre-dense networks for 5G. This will need an integrated and futuristic solution. We have built 5G Cosmos to enable fiberisation of macro and small cells at scale and achieve the full potential of 5G." Sterlite Technologies launches optical solution for 5G rollout

The US space agency has pushed back the <keyword id="15143181" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Artemis-I-Moon" source="Orion">Artemis I Moon</keyword> mission launch to November in the wake of Hurricane Ian. As teams complete post-storm recovery operations, <keyword id="6360409" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="NASA" source="Orion">NASA</keyword> has determined it will focus Artemis I launch planning efforts on the launch period that opens on November 12 and closes on November 27. "Teams at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida conducted initial inspections Friday to assess potential impacts from Hurricane Ian. There was no damage to Artemis flight hardware, and facilities are in good shape with only minor water intrusion identified in a few locations," the space agency said in a statement. Next, engineers will extend access platforms around the Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft inside the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to prepare for additional inspections and start preparation for the next launch attempt, including retesting the flight termination system. NASA said that over the coming days, managers will assess the scope of work to perform while in the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) and identify a specific date for the next launch attempt. "Focusing efforts on the November launch period allows time for employees at Kennedy to address the needs of their families and homes after the storm and for teams to identify additional checkouts needed before returning to the pad for launch," said NASA. Artemis I is NASA's uncrewed flight test which will provide a foundation for human exploration in deep space and demonstrate NASA's commitment and capability to extend human existence to the Moon and beyond. NASA pushes back Artemis I Moon mission launch to November

Festive season and new launches geared the passenger vehicle sales last month as car majors in <keyword id="3658" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="india" source="Orion">India</keyword> logged sales growth last month as compared to the previous year's corresponding month. <keyword id="44883" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="maruti-suzuki" source="Orion">Maruti Suzuki</keyword> India Limited that makes cars and also light commercial vehicles logged a total sales of 176,306 units last month, up from 86,380 units sold in September 2021. According to Maruti Suzuki, the shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles, mainly in domestic models. Hyundai Motor India Ltd sold 63,201 units last month, up from 45,791 units sold in September 2021. "The PV (passenger vehicle) industry witnessed strong demand during Q2FY23 fuelled by the festive season and new launches. <keyword id="42747" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="tata-motors" source="Orion">Tata Motors</keyword> scaled new highs in passenger vehicles with sales of 142,325 units during the quarter, recording a growth of 70 per cent versus Q2FY22," said Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. He said last month, the company sold 47,654 units, up from 25,730 units sold during the corresponding month the previous year. Personal loans, consumer durable loans and business loans carry relatively higher risk for lenders, when compared to home and auto loans. Despite this, personal and consumer durable loans grew at a high CAGR of 25% between FY19 to FY22 – almost doubling in this period, according to a report by Kotak Institutional Equities. Overall, the total lending market in India stood at ₹174.3 lakh crore in FY22, with the retail segment accounting for 48.9% of it. While the overall lending market grew 11.1% in FY22, it has capped off the sluggish growth in FY20 and FY21 – two years highly impacted by Covid-19 and the lockdowns. “FY22 witnessed tremendous growth in new loan originations across retail, microfinance and commercial loans.
