The <keyword id="55119" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="indian-institute-of-technology" source="Orion">Indian Institute of Technology</keyword>, <keyword id="6357478" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="kanpur" source="Orion">Kanpur</keyword> (IIT-K), will provide an indigenously designed tool to help the <keyword id="6357713" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="uttar-pradesh" source="Orion">Uttar Pradesh</keyword> police in detection and cracking of cases of fraud through cryptocurrency transactions. Professor Sandeep Shukla from <keyword id="6354859" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="iit" source="Orion">IIT</keyword>-Kanpur, said that the tool developed by IIT, known as HOP, can analyse cryptocurrency transactions. "The tool is cheaper than any foreign equipment. By September, our tool will be ready to serve the UP police and help in investigations in cases of <keyword id="6372331" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="cryptocurrency-fraud" source="Orion">cryptocurrency fraud</keyword>," said Shukla. ADG, Cybercrime, Subhash Chandra, emphasised on the need for cybercrime awareness programmes and capacity-building for police departments to prepare to counter the menace. "We have taken action against 37,000 accounts, banks and cards, and also recovered Rs 9.5 crore in a year," said Chandra. SP, Cybercrime, Triveni Singh said that the specific programme is an initiative of MHA and Uttar Pradesh Police and the first such event to spread cyber safety awareness and capacity-building for police departments. He said that basic skills and methodologies are required for investigation of VOIP-based calls that have become prevalent in extortion cases. IIT Kanpur develops tool to help investigate cryptocurrency fraud

<ul><li><keyword id="6358992" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Delhi-Police">Delhi Police</keyword> seeks government help to ensure smooth polling on Feb 8. </li><li><keyword id="8732492" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Jungli-Ram-Pahalwan-Stadium">Jungli Ram Pahalwan Stadium</keyword> to be turned into a temporary jail to detain protestors. </li><li>Three incidents of open firing in a week has been reported in the capital. </li></ul>Delhi Police has sought <a href="https://twitter.com/SanjayBragta/status/1225344087961657345?s=20">permission </a>from the government to turn Jungli Ram Pahalwan Stadium, Kanjhawala into a temporary jail for protestors on polling day. If the Delhi government gives a nod, the sports stadium in Nizampur area might be used to detain protestors en masse. The police claim that these protestors could cause unrest during the polling session on Feb 8 in Delhi. As of now, the police arrested 15 protestors and registered three cases against mobs. The capital has been simmering since the Parliament passed the <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/politics/news/what-is-citizenship-bill-and-how-does-it-affect-religious-freedom-in-india/articleshow/72362487.cms">citizen amendment act</a> (CAA). Students and citizens alike have been protesting for three months now. As many as 62 police personnel and 127 persons, including 36 students, were injured during the incident, a <a href="https://theleaflet.in/jamia-violence-a-total-of-15-people-arrested-by-delhi-police/">report</a> said. The Union Home Ministry on Feb 4 also informed the Lok Sabha that Delhi Police registered three cases against the mob. The cases pertain to unlawful activities like damaging public property while protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) around Jamia Millia University. Moreover, the unrest has taken a dangerous turn in the last few weeks. Gun wielding people who are either protestors or supporters of CAA have been threatening law and order in the city. Two cases of firing have been reported near tense areas like Jawaharlal Nehru University and Shaheen Baag, in broad daylight. On Feb 3, two unidentified people also opened fire outside Jamia Millia Islamia University. This was the third such incident within a week and though no injuries were reported, Delhi citizens might be on the edge on polling day. It is just not Delhi that is experiencing the heatwaves of CAA but <a href="https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/up-police-files-fir-against-135-arrests-20-anti-caa-protests-azamgarh-1643795-2020-02-06">UP police</a> too registered an FIR against 135 people for allegedly protesting in Bilariaganj area in Azamgarh. Out of this, they named 35 people and the rest are unidentified. The police superintendent Triveni Singh <a href="https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/up-police-files-fir-against-135-arrests-20-anti-caa-protests-azamgarh-1643795-2020-02-06">said </a>the protest was led by Tahir Madni, general secretary of Ulema Council national, who was also arrested on February 6. The anti CAA protesters in Azamgarh were using foul language against Hindus and PM Narendra Modi, he alleged. Delhi Elections: Delhi Police wants to turn a stadium into prison to lock down protestors on polling day

Ahead of <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Narendra+Modi">PM Narendra </a><a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Narendra+Modi">Modi</a>’s visit to <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Silicon+Valley+">Silicon Valley</a>, a delegation of five top executives of Indian companies will visit <keyword id="107096" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tesla">Tesla</keyword> manufacturing facility in California this week. 
 
As per an Economic Times report, the delegation will interact with the investors and representatives from the US-India Business Council and US Department of Commerce as well as the US Trade representative. 
 
The Confederation of Indian Industry’s CEO Mission will meet in San Francisco. The association has several big names associated with it among with a few are Rajiv Modi, chairman and managing director of Cadila Pharmaceuticals; Rahul Munjal, managing director of Hero Future Energies; Deep Kapuria, chairman of Hi-tech Gears; Rajan Navani, managing director of Jetline Industries Ltd; and Tarun Sawhney, managing director of Triveni Engineering &amp; Industries. 
 The major task of the delegation is to visit the manufacturing facility of Tesla — the maker of battery operated luxury cars. The company which was co-founded by billionaire <keyword id="6355315" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Elon-Musk">Elon Musk</keyword> is all set to start the production work by next year. 
 
With PM Modi’s emphasis on clean energy, the government would be keen to introduce the technology in India. 
 
The facility underwent an upgrade last year, adding significant manufacturing innovation using automation technology to increase production capacity and reduce production time. Modi is expected to visit the facility on September 26-27. 
 
Over their two-day visit, the CII delegation will interact with members of Silicon Valley-based entrepreneurship trade body The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and also meet India's Ambassador to the US, Arun Singh. They will participate in a roundtable with the National Academy of Sciences on 'Manufacturing Innovation'.
