These are the stocks to watch out for during the trading session today: Hero MotoCorp The two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp said it would hike the two-wheeler prices with effect from January 1. The company cited a steady rise in commodity costs across the spectrum, including steel, aluminium, plastics, and precious metals as the rationale behind the price hike. New Delhi, Feb 3 () Triveni Turbine on Monday posted over a 18 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 27.07 crore for the December quarter.
 The company's consolidated net profit stood at Rs 22.83 crore in the quarter ended on December 31, 2018, a BSE filing said.
 It posted total income of Rs 205.87 crore for the quarter under consideration compared to Rs 213.18 crore for the same period a year ago.
 The earning per share (not annualised) for third quarter is Rs 0.84 per share.
 During the April-December period this fiscal, its consolidated net profit rose to Rs 108 crore from Rs 71.96 crore last fiscal.
 The company had earned a profit of Rs 100.23 crore last fiscal.
 It said that the interim dividend at the rate of 50 per cent (i.e, Rs 0.50 per equity share of Rs 1 each) for 2019-20 aggregating to Rs 18.15 crore (including dividend tax) has been paid during the quarter ended December 31, 2019.
 Commenting on the results Dhruv M Sawhney, Chairman and Managing Director at Triveni Turbine said, "The performance of the company has been in line with our expectations and the company achieved strong net profit for the quarter and nine months period under review. The phenomenal increase in nine-month PAT (profit after tax) was on account of improved turnover, higher margins together with reduced tax provisioning resulting from the recent changes in Corporate Taxes."
 Total order booking during the quarter stood at Rs 210 crore, a growth of 11 per cent year on year, which enabled the company to bridge the gap in order booking for the nine months period.
 The order booking for the nine-month period stood at Rs 636 crore, which is marginally lower than the corresponding period of last year and is expected to improve by the end of the year.
 For its JV GETL (GE Triveni Ltd), as communicated in June, Triveni had filed a petition in the National Company Law Tribunal and the matter is sub-judice. This is not affecting our current business and JV received orders of Rs 82.9 crore and the performance of the JV in the quarter under review has also been good, it added. KKS SHW

measures to boost ethanol production In an effort to reduce import of petroleum products, the government has been encouraging farmers to produce ethanol that can be blended with petrol and used as a fuel in vehicles. Also, the centre has advised auto makers to manufacture flex fuel vehicles that are capable of running on both ethanol-based fuel and petrol. Maruti Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, BMW and Mercedes have been told to make vehicles that can run on ethanol based fuel, said Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in an Agro-Vision event in Nagpur this week while encouraging farmers to grow more sugarcane plants. <div type="javascript" title="Custom" contenttype="Image"><cdata><![CDATA[ ]]></cdata></div>The move is in line with the government’s target to reduce the carbon emissions by one billion tonnes by 2030. Analysts say sugar industry has a long way to go Sugar industry in India is expected to grow by 6-7% in the years 2021-2022 due to growth in exports of sugar and ethanol, said Manoj Dalmia, founder and director, Proficient equities. “Exports taking place from India will rise as Brazil is facing weather changes impacting crops. India is to register exports of around 4-6 million tonnes for (sugar 2022). Government plans 20% ethanol blending by 2025 in petrol, currently it is 10%. This measure will reduce the debt burden on farmers as a result sugar stocks are to grow,” said Dalmia. New Delhi, Feb 17 () The National Compamy Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) on Monday asked the Bengaluru bench of NCLT to make a decision on the arbitration plea, preferably within two months, in the ongoing dispute between the JV partners of GE Triveni Ltd.A two member NCLAT bench headed by NCLAT Chairman Justice S J Mukhopadhaya also declined to interfere over the order passed by the Bengaluru bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) at this stage. The Bengaluru bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) had on September 27, 2019 issued notices over the petition filed under Section 45 of the Arbitration &amp; Conciliation Act, 1996 by two service providers seeking arbitration in the issue. This was challenged before the NCLAT by Triveni Turbine, which is in dispute with its JV partner General Electric. "We are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order dated September 27, 2019," said the NCLAT.It further said that the tribunal is required to decide the interlocutory Applications filed under Section 45 after hearing the parties without being influenced by the order passed by the NCLAT."It is expected that the Tribunal will pass such order on the petition under Section 45 of the Arbitration &amp; Conciliation Act, 1996 after hearing the parties on an early date preferably within two months," it said.The appellate tribunal also said that it was not looking into allegation and counter allegation by the respective parties in this matter."As the allegations and counter allegations and other facts are to be looked into by the Tribunal, we are not deliberating on such issues which are left open to the parties to argue before the Tribunal," said NCLAT.Earlier on August 27, 2019 in this matter, NCLAT had allowed GE to sell a controlling stake in its step-down subsidiary Baker Hughes LLC after the US firm had assured that it will continue to provide technical and other assistance to their jv company GE Triveni Ltd until its further order.Triveni Turbine was opposing transferring of GE's shareholding in Baker Hughes as it believes that it would have impact on GETL as it would neither have access to technology nor the marketing assistance.GETL offers a portfolio of steam turbine products of 30 MW to 100MW in the Industrial Power Generation (IPG) market globally. Raw material prices have been pushed up due to the high crude oil prices. Note that half of the material used by paint companies are crude oil derivatives. Asian Paints reported a decline in net profit to ₹595 crore in September, below analysts’ expectations. "Steep inflation seen in raw material prices, since the beginning of this calendar year, has been phenomenal and has impacted gross margins across all businesses in the quarter," said Amit Syngle, managing director and chief executive of Asian Paints in a statement to an exchange on October 21. Adding to it, global chip shortage could impact supply of tinting machines which are key for paint dealers. Dealers who use tinting machines do not have to hold large amounts of shades in stock. “We expect delays in (the supply of) tinting machines to remain for a few quarters for most paint companies. Dabur The company has responded to a study by the Delhi-based NGO Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) and said that its honey had passed the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) test in Germany and it is complying with 22 parameters mandated by FSSAI for testing honey. The CSE study shows that 10 of the 13 brands of honey sold in India, including Dabur had failed the NMR test. The shares of Dabur ended 0.61% lower on Wednesday. Future Retail &amp; RIL After Amazon, the<a href="https://www.timesnownews.com/business-economy/companies/article/future-retail-writes-to-sebi-asks-to-expedite-review-of-deal-with-reliance-retail-quickly/700431"> Kishore Biyani-led Future Group has written to market</a> regulator SEBI to review and approve its ₹24,713 crore deal with RIL.
