As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film minted Rs 43 crore in Hindi language on the release day. "'TIGER 3' IS SALMAN KHAN'S BIGGEST OPENER EVER... TOP 5 OPENERS... The total day 1 collection of the film is Rs 44.50 Cr (Hindi + dubbed), as per a statement shared by YRF. Undoubtedly, the film did a great business despite Diwali day. Tiger 3 is the third installment of the Tiger franchise and a part of the YRF Spy Universe with the likes of War and Pathaan. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Interestingly, it also has cameo appearances of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Reportedly, Hrithik Roshan's 'Krrish 3' previously held the record for the highest Diwali day collection by a single movie. The superhero film netted Rs 15 crore on Diwali day, which was the film's third day. 'Tiger 3' has become the biggest opener for Khan after the 2019 film Bharat which earned Rs 42.30 crore. The film is helmed by Maneesh Sharma. Just like it's two previous instalments - Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai - the film focuses on a new mission involving RA&amp;W agent Tiger (Salman) and ISI agent Zoya (Katrina Kaif). The first part 'Ek Tha Tiger', which came in 2012, was directed by Kabir Khan. In 2017, the franchise expanded with 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. The second part was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Prior to the film's release, In an interview with Variety, Salman recalled shooting the most challenging aspect of the 'Tiger 3' shoot. He shared, "The bike chasing scene was the toughest - I think! It was a massive block of shoot and it had to be impactful so Maneesh [director Maneesh Sharma] and I discussed this at length and then collectively we all worked towards achieving this," he said during an exclusive conversation with Variety. The actor further shared, "I quite enjoyed shooting for "Leke Prabhu Ka Naam" in Cappadocia. It is a dance track that I personally love. Katrina and I have been fortunate to have chartbusters that have entertained people across the world and now, "Leke Prabhu Ka Naam" is another track added to that list." Gill, Pant fifties carry India to 205/3 at lunch on Day 3 against Bangladesh

Days after Trump won his way to the White House, becoming the 47th President of the United States, the US Federal Reserve slashed the interest rates by 25 basis points, bringing them within the range of 4.5-4.75%. This is the second time this year that the Fed has lowered the interest rates, after cutting them down by 50 basis points in September 2024. u Fed chair Jerome Powell noted that monetary policy remains tight as inflation remains elevated at 2.4% as of September 2024, slightly above the 2% mark set by the commission. However, the Fed remained optimistic about the current state of the economy. "The Committee seeks to achieve maximum employment and inflation at 2% over the longer run. The Committee judges that the risks to achieving its employment and inflation goals are roughly in balance. The economic outlook is uncertain, and the Committee is attentive to the risks to both sides of its dual mandate," the FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee) noted in its press release. The rate cut was along widely anticipated lines, although experts were wary of the Fed's way ahead, given that Donald Trump has been elected as the US President. In the past, he has, on multiple occasions, expressed his desire to yield greater influence on the Fed, apart from publicly criticizing Powell. However, Powell continued to stand his ground, noting that Trump cannot legally sack him. He believed in keeping the Fed independent, at least until his tenure as governor ends in 2028. He highlighted that even if he is explicitly asked by Trump to quit, he won't do so. <h2>Trump's regime to inch up inflation?</h2> Trump's electoral promises, if translated into policies, could spell disaster for the Fed's effort to curtail inflation. Reportedly, Trump has promised to levy aggressive tariffs against US trading partners, particularly China, and even extend his 2017 tax cuts. This could mean higher levels of the federal deficit, which would push up prices, wages, and hence, inflation, even as the Fed tries to consistently bring it under control. Apurva Sheth, Head of Market Perspectives and Research, SAMCO Securities, notes that it wasn't a surprise when the US Fed cut interest rates by 25 basis points (bps) to 4.75%. The Fed had given enough clues, and the market too had anticipated these rate cuts. "However, what was surprising was how the <keyword id="23863852" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="US-10-year-bond-yields" source="keywords">US 10-year bond yields</keyword> moved over the last one and a half months, which have been rising relentlessly from 3.6% to almost 4.5% despite the 50 bps cut in the last Fed meeting. It seems that the market is anticipating slower rate cuts going ahead, and maybe there are even chances of inflation rising. The bond yields have cooled off and slipped below the 4.335% mark. This should be bullish for emerging markets like India," he added.

Stock market today: Indexes trade mixed as traders look to break out of 3-day slump 

Enviro Infra Engineers, which is involved in the development of turnkey projects of <keyword id="19979438" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="sewage-treatment-plants" source="keywords">sewage treatment plants</keyword> and sewerage systems, on Monday fixed a price band of ₹140-148 per share for its ₹650 crore <keyword id="19913114" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Initial-Public-Offering" source="keywords">Initial Public Offering</keyword> (IPO). The initial share sale will open for public subscription on November 22 and conclude on November 26. The bidding for anchor investors will open for a day on November 21, the company announced. The city-based company's proposed IPO is a combination of a fresh issue of 3.87 crore equity shares and an Offer For Sale (OFS) component of 52.68 lakh shares by promoters. Currently, promoters hold over 93 per cent stake in Enviro Infra Engineers. At the higher end of the price band, the IPO is valued at ₹650 crore, placing the company's market capitalization at approximately ₹2,600 crore. Proceeds from the fresh issue to the tune of ₹181 crore will be used to meet the working capital requirements, ₹100 crore will be used for payment of debt, ₹30 crore will be infused into the company's subsidiary, EIEL Mathura Infra Engineers, to build 60 million litres per day Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. Besides, a portion will be used for general corporate purposes. Half of the issue size has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers, 35 per cent for retail investors and the remaining 15 per cent for non-institutional investors. Enviro Infra Engineers is engaged in designing, construction, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants and water supply scheme projects for government authorities/bodies. The treatment process installed by the company at most of the STPs is zero liquid discharge-compliant and the treated water can be used for horticulture, washing, refrigeration, and other process industries. Hem Securities is the sole book-running lead manager of the public issue. The equity shares of the company are expected to be listed on the BSE and NSE on November 29. "In fact, I encourage it. Have fun. Live your best life."<h2 id="1c4be94f-a91b-485c-9850-ac0905f2ba7c">A modern-day lavender marriage</h2>Traditionally, a lavender marriage was just that — a legally binding marriage.Edward Reese, a gender and sexuality expert at the LGBTQ+ dating app Taimi, told Business Insider that this can still be true. It can bring benefits such as inheritance rights, childcare, tax breaks, better mortgage rates, and primary care if one of you gets ill."People can do it in case one or both partners don't have family or have gone no contact, and their lavender spouse becomes not only their best friend but a legal family member," he said.But the modern version of a lavender marriage could also simply be a spoken agreement between two people to live their lives like a married couple, without the sex.This is different from having a roommate, Reese added, who can move out of a shared household any minute, whenever they choose."The couple in the lavender marriage is expected to get through all the conflicts, discuss and compromise," he said. People are more commonly discovering they are aromantic or asexual, he added, which questions the pop culture norm of focusing on straight sex and love for so long.There are challenges, however. DeVore and Roos warned that emotional complexities can arise from such entanglements, and open communication about boundaries and feelings is vital for it to work.For example, the rules of a lavender marriage may be vague, meaning there could be the potential for upset down the line. Partners may disagree on what is allowed outside the relationship and what isn't and have different ideas of what defines cheating.Roos said this is when lavender marriages can show their weak side, triggering feelings of jealousy and sadness if one partner starts feeling left out.The arrangement may also not suit both people forever, such as if one decides to pursue a romantic relationship."What felt OK when talking things through before, or at the beginning, of the marriage, might therefore, later on not feel OK at all," Roos said.Ultimately, she said challenges and conflicts can arise even in the most committed partnerships, DeVore said."While a lavender marriage may offer certain advantages, it does not guarantee a lifetime of happiness and fulfillment," she said."It's important to remember that no relationship, including a lavender marriage, is immune to heartache."

I was excited to work for a company with so much momentum behind it.Every day I went into the office and worked alongside people who believed anything was possible. I'd been working for the state for five years, four of which were at the BMV, so I threw my hat in the ring and got the job.Tesla was still scaling at the time; the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tesla-model-3-specs-range-features-photos-2017-7">Tesla Model 3</a> hadn't even come out yet. My loved ones were confused as to why I was going from such a regulated company to one that could go under in an instant. We had no idea who Elon Musk was or what Tesla would end up becoming.My starting salary was $19 per hour, and I received 19 shares of Tesla stock. I was offered additional stock alongside annual raises and during particularly exceptional quarters, but I was naive to how stocks work. I feel like I was compensated fairly during my time there, though I advise people to ask for as many shares as possible when starting at a company.<h2 id="bc2d19fe-36f3-4f24-b534-e91668eff034">I worked 12 to 16-hour days and was excited</h2><div type="image" title="Amanda Manley sitting in a mini Tesla" height="1763" width="2351" msid="115253232" hostid="261" sizebytes="402900"></div>As part of Tesla's onboarding process, I was given a 10-page document called the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/leaked-tesla-employee-handbook-reveals-high-standards-for-workers-2020-2">Anti-Handbook Handbook</a>. It was incredibly informal and had hardly any official policies in it.I was told my job would be to help open Tesla's first official dealership in Indiana and build its title and registration processes, among other new policies, from scratch. I was excited and said, "Let's do it."The first year and a half was complete craziness and felt like nonstop grunt work. I worked on a small team of four women, often churning <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/signs-your-career-taking-over-your-life-how-to-stop-2024-7">12 to 16-hour shifts</a> in the back room of the Indianapolis service center. It felt like none of us knew what we were doing. Some days we were like chickens with our heads cut off, but I've never worked with such a great group of strong women.I remember freaking out when we had 40 cars going out in one day in 2017. That number is laughable by today's standards, but that was a huge win for us. The synergy and excitement we had in 2017 and 2018 were the best I've ever seen and probably will see in my working life.<h2 id="3f7497b1-fb50-4881-afa7-67bcd32dadf5">I worked during big personal moments, like my wedding day</h2>I started <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/demanding-tech-career-absent-parent-mom-guilt-2024-8">bringing work home with me</a>, taking calls at dinner, and running a short fuse with my soon-to-be husband and 7-year-old daughter.It only spiraled from there. I justified working on my birthday, during my daughter's dance recitals, and even on my wedding day in 2018. During my honeymoon in Mauritius, my husband was upset to find me still trying to work with a 13-hour time difference.<div type="image" title="Amanda Manley on her wedding day" height="960" width="720" msid="115253233" hostid="261" sizebytes="88758"></div>I know it must've been even harder on my daughter. I remember I spent most of Christmas week at Tesla in 2018, and my daughter had to FaceTime me on Christmas Day just to see me.There was a demand for the job to get done, and often I was the only one who could do a certain task or make an executive decision. By the end of 2018, customer demand was <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tesla-biggest-moments-2018-2018-12#tesla-makes-5000-model-3s-in-one-week-for-the-first-time-26">growing rapidly,</a> and I felt like the message from management was to burn the midnight oil and work even harder to keep up, so I did.<h2 id="96772d0d-02fd-4649-a729-2576760cfa5e">I never cried as much as I did during Q4</h2>The fourth quarter was always the worst and most chaotic time of year. Extreme shareholder expectations alongside<a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tesla-stock-earnings-report-q4-call-tsla-price-live-updates-2024-1"> Elon's ambitious Q4 goals</a> meant everyone was expected to give Tesla their everything.I remember complaining about my workload. Meanwhile, others were working much more, and some were <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tesla-worker-slept-car-work-long-shifts-still-laid-off-2024-5">sleeping in the office</a>. I was so stressed all the time, hiding my tears from coworkers and fighting the urge to quit. Just thinking of Q4 gives me the grossest feeling; it makes me want to go have a beer.Despite the difficulties, my coworkers and I bonded during that time. We were supposed to be with our families but couldn't be, so we built a family among each other. It was a beautiful silver lining in an overall bad situation.<h2 id="94af1da6-d58e-4011-83c8-e160a4ee3a08">The breaking point was when I came back from maternity leave</h2><div type="image" title="Amanda Manley's son in a toy Tesla" height="2268" width="3024" msid="115253240" hostid="261" sizebytes="342688"></div>After my son was born in 2020, I was given a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/maternity-leave-around-the-world-2018-5">six-month maternity leave.</a> When I returned, I was immediately hit with the same workload and expectations I'd had previously, but this time I couldn't physically do it while having a baby at home who needed me. I knew something needed to change. My husband worked, too, so we had our son in daycare during normal working hours, but I could no longer justify working late into the night.I also wasn't <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/what-to-do-when-you-dont-get-along-with-your-boss-2022-10">seeing eye-to-eye with my manager</a>, which pushed me further away from the company. While such conversations are essential, simply discussing mental health is not enough. We must pay close attention to the factors that contribute to its decline, particularly the modern obsession with busyness. We often wear our “busyness” like a badge of honour. Phrases like “I can work 24/7 without rest” or “I was so busy that I couldn’t even have lunch” are common at workplaces today. But this mindset may be doing more harm than good. Research has increasingly shown that this relentless drive to fill our schedules can have a negative impact on our brains and hamper creativity. <h2>Employees are feeling workplace <keyword id="84644" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="burnout" source="Orion">burnout</keyword> </h2> A study published in the Scandinavian Journal of Psychology highlighted the detrimental effects of workplace burnout, underscoring that burnout is not merely a personal issue but a collective one. The study found that approximately 13% of individuals tested in Norway were at a high risk of burnout, with various factors such as work-home conflict and job dissatisfaction playing significant roles. Psychologist Leon De Beer, a key researcher in this area, told Sciencealert, “Not addressing the risk of employee burnout in time can have long-term consequences.” This statement resonates with the growing body of evidence suggesting that chronic stress and the pursuit of productivity can irreversibly alter our mental landscape. <h2>The science behind burnout </h2> Understanding the science behind burnout reveals how staying busy always affects our brains. According to a report in The Conversation, the phenomenon of burnout is closely linked to the body’s stress response, specifically the “fight or flight” mechanism. When faced with stress, our body releases cortisol, a hormone that prepares us to react quickly. While this response can be beneficial in short bursts, constant exposure to stress can lead to prolonged high levels of cortisol. Chronic stress can shrink the hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for memory and learning, ultimately impairing our ability to think clearly and concentrate. Moreover, research published in Nature Reviews Neuroscience sheds light on the role of a tiny cluster of neurons in the brainstem known as the locus coeruleus, which regulates our alertness and stress responses. The researchers highlight how this area functions like a gear lever, allowing our brains to switch between different modes of operation. In “Gear 1,” our brains are relaxed and creative. In “Gear 2,” we are focused but not stressed. However, when we are constantly busy, we can become stuck in “Gear 3,” where our brains are hyper-alert and in crisis mode. As a result, our cognitive functions diminish, leading to decreased analytical and creative thinking. <h2>The impact of overworking </h2> A BBC report highlighted how researchers systematically reviewed data on long working hours, defining them as 55 hours or more per week, and found a significant correlation between <keyword id="401396" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="overwork" source="Orion">overwork</keyword> and various health impacts, including increased mortality rates. One major factor contributing to this phenomenon is the biological toll of chronic stress, which leads to elevated blood pressure and cholesterol levels. When we sacrifice sleep, exercise, and healthy eating to cram more tasks into our day, we are not just risking burnout; we are also jeopardising our overall health. Dr. Frank Pega, a WHO technical officer and lead author of a significant study on overwork, told BBC, “Overwork is the single largest risk factor for occupational disease, accounting for roughly one-third of the burden of disease related to work.” This statistic is staggering and illustrates just how critical it is to examine the link between our busyness and our mental health. Not only does overwork lead to heightened stress and anxiety, but it can also result in mental fatigue, decreased productivity, and even chronic health conditions. Dr. Pega’s findings reflect a broader trend: the relentless pursuit of productivity in the workplace has become detrimental. An increasing number of professionals are finding themselves caught in the trap of overwork, often resulting in exhaustion and emotional detachment. <h2>How to relax at work? </h2> Recognising the detrimental effects of overwork is the first step towards fostering a healthier work environment and lifestyle. Fortunately, there are several practical strategies individuals can implement to combat the pressures of busyness and promote mental wellbeing. Take frequent breaks: Incorporating regular breaks into your workday is essential. Short walks, stretching, or simply stepping away from your desk for a few minutes can significantly alleviate stress and improve focus. The act of disconnecting allows your brain to reset, helping you return to your tasks with renewed energy. Exercise: Engage in Physical Activity: Exercise is a powerful tool for stress management. As outlined in various studies, physical activity leads to a spike in cortisol followed by a healthy reduction, which can enhance mood and cognitive function. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise each day to reap the benefits. Barring any unexpected upsets, Harris would then win the Electoral College 270 to 268.Trump's easiest route to victory also goes through Pennsylvania, the most important swing state. Winning Pennsylvania would likely allow Trump to retake the White House by holding North Carolina and flipping back Georgia. In that scenario, he could even sustain the blow of losing an Electoral College vote in Nebraska, which pre-election polling shows is very likely.While so much focus is deservedly on Pennsylvania, Trump spent significant time in the race's <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-harris-campaign-schedule-final-days-election-north-carolina-pennsylvania-2024-11">final days in North Carolina</a>, even though only two Democrats, Presidents Obama and Carter, have won the Tar Heel state since 1976.<h2 id="33a8541d-7186-485c-9f39-513897c661cf">These are the bellwether counties to watch.</h2>Bucks County, Pennsylvania: Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro recently called this Philadelphia metro-area county, "the swingiest of all swing counties in the swingiest of all swing states." Hillary Clinton won Bucks by less than 3,000 votes in 2016 and lost both the state and the White House. President Biden won it by just over 17,000 votes four years ago en route to taking his native turf by a roughly 80,000 vote margin. If Trump wants to retake Pennsylvania, doing well here is key.Waukesha County, Wisconsin: Once traditional GOP ground, this Milwaukee-suburban county area has moved closer to Democrats-like suburbs nationwide in the Trump era. Trump routed Clinton here in 2016, but his margin decreased by just over 7 points four years later, as he lost the state by a roughly 21,000-vote margin to Biden.Maricopa County, Arizona: In 2020, the home to Phoenix, the fastest-growing county in the nation, swung to Democrats by just over 2 points. President Biden went on to win the state by just roughly 10,000 votes. In contrast, then-Gov. Doug Ducey, a popular Republican, won the county by almost 14 points two yeas prior.<h2 id="563abb9a-9c88-4a29-ab86-330b0cf1d83b">Here's what early exit polls could tell us:</h2>Exit polls will provide the first major at who turned out to vote early in the evening after the embargo lifts at 5 pm Eastern Time, though specific data on who may win a state is held back until polls close in that area.Though exit polls can offer valuable data, especially about demographics, they are often misleading and are not predictive of an eventual winner.Mark Blumenthal, a contractor at YouGov and previous head of election polling at SurveyMonkey, told Business Insider he will interested in how the vote ends up breaking down by gender and race, particularly given the speculation that Democrats are losing ground among Black and Latino voters.Overall, though, he cautions against making too much of exit polls on election night itself. "As a means of trying to see who is going to win, between the time when they start being released, which is usually 5 pm Eastern tomorrow, and when we get a final count, my advice is to ignore them," Blumenthal said. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat, has managed to survive past challenges in the former swing state that now tilts toward Republicans. His challenger, Cleveland Businessman Bernie Moreno, has hammered Brown over immigration. According to AdImpact, the Ohio Senate race is the most expensive non-presidential race ever. Pre-election polling: Moreno was up by less than 1 point, per RealClearPolitics' average.Montana: Sen. Jon Tester, a Democrat, is facing an even tougher challenge in Montana, a state Trump carried by over 16 points in 2020. Republicans worked hard to elevate <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/tim-sheehy-montana-senate-gunshot-wound-questions-tester-2024-11">Tim Sheehy</a>, a wealthy aerospace executive, even though expectations of a bruising primary did not come to pass. Like other Republican hopefuls, Sheehy has done everything possible to tie Harris to Tester. Pre-election polling: Sheehy was up by 6.5 points, per RealClearPolitics' average.<h2 id="55c3c49d-49e9-4d7b-b097-24845da6f374">The House is much closer.</h2>Arizona 1st District: Rep. <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/david-schweikert-profile-trump-realignment-arizona-economic-interests-abortion-2024-10">David Schweikert</a>, a Republican, has represented Scottsdale and its surrounding areas in Congress for almost 14 years. Gov. Katie Hobbs and Sen. Mark Kelly easily won the area, one of the most educated districts still held by a Republican. His challenger, former state Rep. Amish Shah, has highlighted his centrist record and is hoping Trump's unpopularity will sink Schweikert.New York 19th: Rep. Marc Molinaro was one of four Republicans who flipped a Democratic-held seat during the 2018 midterms in New York, a margin that proved vital to the GOP retaking the chamber. Democrats are hoping Josh Riley, a lawyer and policy analyst, can win in a rematch two years later with the help of Harris at the top of the ticket. More than $35 million has been spent on the race, making it the most expensive House contest in the nation.California 22nd: Rep. David Valadao is one of 18 House Republicans representing a district President Biden won in 2020. Valadao is also one of the only two remaining House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump after the January 6 Capitol riot. Former state Rep. Rudy Salas is like many Democrats in key races, hoping to win in a rematch after falling short two years ago.
